Fergie was the greatest manager ever, but he never once gave the impression he was bigger than the club.
—————

Really? He was always quick to get rid of players who he didn’t get on with, sometimes at the cost of the club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
who?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Stam for one.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Stam was sold because he accused the club of tapping him up... he was moved on because that kind of press wouldnt have been good for Utd.

Fergie regretted the sale, but for me it had to be done, you cant publicly accuse the club and manager of tapping you up... thats fecking moronic.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

But SAF said he regretted selling Stam.

Martial is still suffering from LvG running him into the ground.

Do you think the 19yr old was tired?

It’s weird our fans aren’t getting excited about Sanchez after a great goal and assist last night and are mourning a guy who doesn’t want to be with us

Still can't believe we resigned Fellaini after he held us to ransom.

Fecking Fellaini!!!!

shows the state the club is in these days, there's so many more issues than just the manager.

Yeah, I do think a DOF is required to protect the image of the club on the pitch.

Poster 1: He proved under LVG given a run of games what he could do where he was by far our brightest talent

Poster 2: Martial is still suffering from LvG running him into the ground.

Poster 3: A supposed World Class manager cannot get the best out of him when LvG did it with ease is pretty damning.

I disagree there to be honest Arab.

i think we have a decent squad, we just do not have a guy in charge who is capable of getting the best out of them.

I guess Utd fans prefer to grow talent rather than buy it. Just a part of the clubs history.

Not to say I won't enjoy Sanchez playing if he can rediscover his best form, because that is a world class player. However it will never feel like he is "ours" if you know what I mean.

did he?

what was he meant to do, keep a guy at the club who's comments could have got the club in bother?

Stam also slated a few of the players in his book including the Nevilles... how is that good for team morale?

We do have a good squad, but we also have a lot of players out of contract next year and we spent almost two months begging Fellaini to sign a new contract even though he was whooring himself out to other clubs.

I actually think Martial Lukaku Sanchez front 3 has potential but Jose seems to be against it. Sanchez actually has a pretty decent final pass / cross on him. I think he could do very well at RF for us.

im reserving judgement until i see him perform to a high level in the league.

i can not believe your jizzing in your wangers over a couple of pre season games and forgetting about the poor performances last season when it really mattered.

It does, but I also think it would have worked with Rashford as well instead of Sanchez

Who’s forgetting about the poor performances? I’m sure people on here are forgetting about the truly poor games Martial had too.

Sanchez is looking bang in form and it’s sad that people don’t seem to want to welcome him to the club because they feel he’s forced Martial out

posted on 1/8/18

Imagine we sell Martial and buy Willian, two wide forwards who will be 30 next year.

I’ve always said that this twaaaat Jose Should have at least 3 years but if our young talent start going then he can feck off.

You can’t play schit football, with geriatrics and then not win trophies at United and still last. He’ll lose the majority of the fans very, very soon.

We'd need to change our style of course. The slow build up stunts them, as does the lack of movement from midfield and wing back.

Our best form under Jose, without doubt was always the final half an hour when we picked off teams with ease on the counter. That relies on starting quickly though.

He already has to be fair. Those who support him that I know are only doing so because..."who else?"
