Probably a good reason why no other teams appeared to give Forest a challenge over the summer to try and sign him.

Hope he isn’t planning on coasting through the season and getting a permanent deal. Needs some tough love IMO.

Colback and Watson just don’t seem to work together.

Yates and Bridcutt should be there next game.

Can’t see him dropping the captain at the moment.

We have been reasonably lucky so far. Our first half performances in the league have been risible of late. Our midfield offers minimal resistance. We keep this up and some team will absolutely muller us.

Need to change the personnel.

Aware this is reasonably early in the season, but we keep repeating the errors we saw too much of last season.

It does seem like a lack of dynamism and understanding in the midfield. If Karanka is asking the full backs to attack then the Colback and Watson need to provide effective cover. Saying that, seemed Forest were mostly on the back foot today aonmore a generator lack of fighting spirit all round?

Hefele was quite effective as part of a back three at Udders when they were promoted. Might offer Pants more protection?

Not as good as everyone hoped so far!

No Will, but it is still early days. Depends how long it takes AK to realise certain things.

Watson & Colback doesn't work.
Certain players can't manage three games in eight days.
Cash needs to start games.

2 things concern me at present, does AK know his best eleven yet ? and why did we let Vellios and Brereton go, having very little cover ? conceding as many goals as we are is putting big pressure on the forwards, thank god for Matty Cash.👍

We aren't as good as we think we are.

Selling Brereton or rather freezing him out, not even on the bench against Bury, is going to cost us.

Rumours that Brereton was falling out with Karanka at training. You always hear those kinds of rumours when a player isn’t getting on so I would take it with a pinch of salt.

Would be interesting to know if they were after a loan striker yesterday...

Cash is certainly the form player so far this season. How he didn’t start today is a mystery. Was fantastic on Wednesday.

Unfortunately we appear to have some very good individual players but as yet not a team. Hopefully they will gel and when it does we will start to see the benefit of AK’s signings. I still think we will struggle for goals.
