What line up would everyone like to see?
What I’d like to see:
--------------Leno---------
Licht-Mustafi-Sokratis-Nacho
---------------Torreira--------------
------Ramsey---Guendouzi---
-------------------Ozil----------------
-----Lacazette--Aubameyang--
Think it could be a good game to give Lichtsteiner and Torreira a start. Lichtsteiner is quite aggressive and wont be put off any physical approach from Cardiff, Same with Torreira, he loves a tackle and getting stuck in. Plus on paper it is a game we should win relatively comfortable, so might not be many better opportunities to give 2 new players a start. However I think Emery at best will only start Torreira. And to be fair in an attacking way , Bellerin may worry Cardiff more than Lichtsteiner, so there could sense to that.
Won’t be surprised to see Torreira or Ramsey come in for Guendouzi. I’d rather Xhaka drop out and keep Guendouzi with Torreira. But on the other hand won’t be the worse thing if he’s benched, he wasn’t quite as good against West Ham. Being a young inexperienced player he’s likely to have inconsistent form, so won’t be a bad decision to take him out rather than play him through bad form, and dent his confidence. A thing we’ve seen happen under wenger. I’d like to see Lacazette and Auba, but don’t think Emery will start with that.
I think we’ll see..
Cech
Bellerin must Sokratis monreal
Xhaka Torreira/Ramsey
Mhkitaryan Ozil Iwobi
Aubameyang

Won’t be surprised if Xhaka does start. He seems to be immune from dropping for some reason!
It's worth seeing how Xhaka does alongside Torreira.

Xhaka starts with guen, Mhkitaryan and Iwobi out for Ramsey and Lacazette. Aubameyang starts as well
Mesut Ozil returns for Arsenal along with Alexandre Lacazette. Henrikh Mkhitaryan is dropped to the bench and Alex Iwobi is left out of the 18.

Not surprised in the slightest.

Suprise, suprise.

And rightly so. Suprising starting eleven though.
No Torreira is a surprise though.
What a great summer transfer window we had
Xhaka played better against West Ham. But it’s a mystery why he’s always starting. Must have some serious dirt on the club
Side show playing again. Headless chicken running around all over the shop leaving huge spaces in the middle.

Who is side show?
Ozil playing on the right by looks of it. Potentially could leave Bellerin exposed, unlikely to see Ozil tracking back much

You don't give a player a bumper new (totally undeserved imo) contract, then bench him.
We'll be stuck watching garbage performances from him for a while yet,
Suprised that he is playing with Auba and Laca upfront. Last presser he said something through the line that we wont see them start together. Changed his mind obviously.
Not sure how productive Auba will be against a packed defence.
Never been a fan of him on the flanks
