askren either was grossly over rated or hit the ufc at the exact point of his decline, lucky not to be 0-3, tbh I've not seen much of him before the ufc but the message boards were littered with how great a wrestler he is/was, his striking was rubbish when compared to any half way competent striker and his wrestling has been non existent
Yeh I know he was bigged up massively prior to coming, but as with most that come from outside of the UFC there is a definite level difference. Even Kong looked quite out his depth as well, and anyone from the top tier will finish either one it seems

Embarrassing. Two guys who have struggled to get the UFC to back them suddenly have the rock handing them a made up belt in MSG.
Diaz laughed it off in an Helwani interview as ironic.

its quite obvious what its for, he's about 100x more recognisable in comparison to them, I mean as much as I love Jorge 3 fights ago no one outside of the mma community knew who the hell he was

Shame Walker lost, hopefully he comes back stronger.
Luque is a fecking warrior. So many go out to nullify thompson.
Till vs gastelum has to be one of the worse fights I've seen in a long while, its like watch 2 unfit heavyweights. Awful.
