Anyone watch Max Holloway put on an absolute clinic on Kattar? Beautiful performance, one of the best I have seen.

I was on the edge of my seat when he done that. Unbelievable skill and head movement but Kattar has enough power to put anyone out.

He looked absolutely too class. Gotta be a title shot next after that.

Volkanovski doesn't want to fight him again, he's facing ortega next, bit of a sht spot for Holloway now really

I think he is guaranteed a title shot now, Dana all but confirmed it in thr post fight press conference. There are no clear contenders at 145 at the moment, which helps Max's case. Now we just have to wait and see what hapoens with Ortega and Volk.

Big fight next week too, between Dustin and Conor. Khabib allegedly told Dana that he will fight again if some one does something spectacular enough. So all eyes will be on next weeks main event.

Hope mcgregor sticks to his word and is active this year. Looked very rusty, timing off, you gotta check those kicks or have a plan B.

Wel done to Dustin, well deserved.

4 way for the title now a mix of geathje, porier, oliviera and chandler

Mcgregors game plan was shocking, taking 18 leg kicks trying to catch them instead of checking them was dumb

Has he retired again?

WOOOOOOOOOW!!

Firstly, Michael Chandler, welcome to the UFC and what an entrance he made. I didn't think he could hang with the top guys but he finished Hooker with ease. Mightily impressive performance. As for Hooker, I think he can still come back and put on entertaining fights but his chin seems to have gone and his style is too centered around taking shots.

The main event, wow. I thought Conor would TKO Dustin in the 2nd but 2 things were evident on the night for me. One, Dustin has improved considerably and perhaps more than I thought he had. His timing and his composure were impeccable. The plan to take Conor down in the first and fatigue him as much as possible and then bringing in the calf kicks worked to perfection. Conor failed to check any of them and his movement was taken away from him. Once Dustin hurt him, he unleashed a barrage of shots and I saw something I thought i'd never see, Conor getting stopped via strikes on the feet. The second thing about Dustin that was very different in this fight was his punch endurance and chin. He was able to take Conors shots a lot easier than at 145 and Conor was landing some clean left hands. Nate Diaz showed that Conor can be beaten if you can take his shots and Dustin was able to. I'm still speechless at that performance by Dustin and I think Conor will be back but the Khabib rematch is probably off the cards now.

Next fights to make at lightweight:
1. Dustin vs Oliviera
2. Khabib vs Chandler
3. Conor vs Gaethje/Tony

Dana basicly confirmed khabib is done in the press conference after

In that case:

Dustin vs Chandler for the titles

Conor seemed far too one dimensional last night. I think he threw 2/3 meaningful kicks. Can tell how much focus he’s put into his boxing cause even his stance and way he was throwing seemed slightly different. Dustin brilliant and fought a brilliant fight fair play to Mike brown!

Chandler was gr8 but he’s fought once no way can he be in a title shot already.

Mcgregor said he wanted to fight al Iaquinta at some point that would make sense next. Or Tony? Don’t think he should get in with a top 5 guy again yet.

No excuses for Conor this time. He said he didn't train for the Khabib fight and that's why he got beat but he certainly trained for the Cerrone and Dustin fight. Dustin was the better man on the night and I believe he has improved perhaps more than Conors team anticipated. The leg kicks were a masterstroke.
