Thought it was Wednesday we were playing ?
It certainly is!
Will be interesting to see if Robinson or Osborn starts at left back; apart from that I'm not even going to try guessing who will play.

I like both Stoke and Nottingham Forest but I want Forest to win v Stoke in Carabao Cup.Also I want Nottingham Forest to win and get promoted from Championship to Premiership soon, hopefully this season after a successful campaign in Championship!
Should be an opportunity to get Yacob out on the pitch to see what he can bring to the Forest side. I reckon only Robinson will play from the defence that started v Millers. Dias and Goncalves will probably have a run.
I suspect there will be a few Rams in commenting on their old manager...
Good we can ask them about their attendance figures this season.

I would like to see Steele given another go, I am unsure about Pantilimon 🤔
Goncalves is the only one of the newbies not to deliver so far, maybe tonight could be his time to shine.
I wouldn’t break up the back 4 as they keep playing together they will only get stronger.
Goncalves has a bit to prove. Odds are that one of the Portuguese lads wasn’t going to settle. Maybe he will be a slow burner and come good as the season progresses.
Leeds United 33,154
2 Aston Villa 32,262
3 Nottingham Forest 27,265
4 Norwich City 25,166
5 Derby County 25,124
6 Sheffield United 24,383
7 West Bromwich Albion 23,890
8 Stoke City 23,805
9 Sheffield Wednesday 23,042
What I would like to see from this game is a lot more of a coherent plan as to how to unlock teams that park the bus. Stoke probably won’t do it to the extent we have seen with others this season but was a little frustrated on Saturday by the lack of players breaking the lines as they call it these days.
There is talent and pace in the attacking half of the team. Just hope they aren’t being stifled too much by tactics. The few times they got in down the flanks against Rotherham, the created some good chances.
Lolley, with his run and pass to Osborn, showed that he has the craft and guile necessary to play the killer ball. Cash also showed when he came on that he is a powerful runner. They are the form men at the moment and deserve to be first choice picks IMO.
Osborn showed far more movement and urgency in the middle than either Guedioura and Watson. He had a middling time out on the left prior to that, admittedly, but his contribution, combined with Cash and Lolley’s, turned a draw into a win.
I hope that Karanka goes with the form book. I want a decent cup run. It has been too long after a youth spent following the Reds to Wembley many a time.
That BB deal isn’t looking so logical at this moment in time.

I have not much time for either Forest or Stoke City. Let them slug it out and create maximum hurt to each other.
Just to share with you:-
I work with a die hard Florest fan and I think that is great. He came to me (he's my line manager) this morning and actually said that he '"was proud of Derby" last night which I thought was very big and classy of him .
However he didn't like Frank starting the bounce and the words that accompany it
Good luck tonight

Only three survive from the Rotherham game. This will test the resolve of the Forest squad good and proper.

Yep, not seen the highlights yet but it sounds like the Rams had a blinder. Hope you get a drain draw in the next round...
...Burton away!
A dream draw. Could be draining I suppose after all of the excitement.
