Modric has gotten FIFA best player award.
Should have kept him, if we could have, don't you think?
Has been a Real Madrid key player for 10 years now, or thereabouts.

Yeah, and while we're at it we shoudve kept Bale as well. And Walker. Ten years? He joined us in 2008 Ted, went to Madrid in 2012, so six years.

My memory fails me sometimes!
Anyways, the fact is Modric is one hell of a player and fully deserves his award.
It seems so long ago that we had Modric and Bale!
Since then we've been puttering around on the edges of becoming "a big team".
New manager, new stadium (someday), and maybe eventually a squad that wins something before we start losing our best players again!
Perhaps it will happen "in my time"?
