Glaring stat from last night - Celtic were awarded 3 frees with 63% possession, St Johnstone had 14 frees from 37% possession
No wonder big Boyata was like a weasel
It's like the other teams managers have all suddenly adopted the exact same deeper than deep approach against us. When it comes off for them, boy are they chuffed.
To counter it i would play Rogic every game and get him taking 3-4 shots at least from outside the box. Only takes a deflection etc to create a chance.
If we can start getting an earlier first goal the whole dynamic changes.
Missed early goals for sure - means the oppo have to come out and play and leaves us more space to play with

That ref last night was awful
Honestly he could not wait to award st Johnstone anything at all , he was really annoying me .
He wasn't giving the handball either when celtic scored , I don't like him at all . I think he favours the plucky underdogs in his approach

I'm pleased to say that one of my lads played against him at sevens a few months back and I heard from a few of his teammates that he took the opportunity to 'pyoor smash him'
i love a "shall we say" , its such a wee whank of a phrase, for sure.
