No expectation of a positive result.....no Brown,Rogic,Benkovic or Ajer.....Henry v a team of this quality can only go one way sadly....I expect that defence unfortunately but maybe a reinforced midfield so Forrest,Ntcham,Mulumbu, Christie,McGregor with either Edouard or Griffiths up front ....Got Morgan and Sinclair from the bench!

It's a fair question....but it's Celtic away from home in Europe against a decent team....there's a few clues in there as to the type of doing I'm referring too.

Salzburg win away at Lepizig last week shows what they are capable of. I reckon along with Seville, Chelsea, Rangers, Arsenal and whoever drops out of the CL then they will be big favourites. All of these teams expect to win it this year

I think this is the game where Hendry will step up and put in a MOTM performance. This will be the making of him.

You wait and see. I expect a transformational game for him and he'll win the hearts of the Celtic support with a titanic performance.

Unfortunately he'll be let down by the usual suspects and Celtic will lose, but he'll be MOTM.

Too many key players missing from Celtic first XI

Can’t see them getting anything from this game except a good doing.

If Rodgers has anything about him then this is the type of game for his team to sit in and play for a draw or snatch a goal from a set piece or counter attack

Going toe-to-tow with them with so many absentees will not end up with a positive result.

On the other hand, I expect us to beat Rapid. They’ll be decent. But RB Salzburg are better and at I rod we should have too much for them if we play with the right attitude and tempo from the off

I don't know what to expect from Rangers tonight. In Europe they've been more than impressive, domestically they've been less than good.

They could easily snatch a win or get a pumping. No idea.

The crowd as ever will have an influence so it might push your team over the line.

I think Rangers would need to pick up 3 points to have a realistic change of progressing. A draw isn't a disaster but a defeat is.

I think the minimum you need to have after the first 2 games is 3 points to have a decent chance of qualifying.

Look at Spurs right now, 0 points on the board and even taking 6 against PSV in their next 2 games would only bring them potentially level on points with one of the top 2.

That team you put up has given me the fear , Salzburg seem a well oiled machine

They had two brilliant players when we faced them at celtic park
Kampl and some curly haired defender

Do they both still play for them ? And I suspect soranio is now retired?

Got to win home games. So important as anything away from home is a bonus

Europe seems to suit us better as teams don’t sit in so much and leave more space in behind.

Odd considering the standard and quality is much higher than Livi. But tactics nat.

Tbh tho we’re more suites because in Europe teams don’t tend to rely on set pieces or long Val’s which is our Achilles heel in the SPFL. When teams don’t do that we’re lost more comfortable at playing it on the deck and arms to work for us in Europe ..... so far !!
