Fair enough. What did he do that was good? James and Rashford gave him a torrid time.

We musty have been watching different games, they never gave anyone a 'Torrid' time - well apart from James with Alonso once!

James had the easiest game defensively he'll ever have - not tested at all!!

Don't get me wrong, there were no stand out performances any where on view tonight from either team.

And Yoonited are turning more and more into a Newcastle type, 11 men behind the ball team, everytime I see them - not the type of Yoonited team I've been used to seeing!

They’re woeful. But sadly for us, play well against ball playing better teams. It’s why they got a point against scousers.

We are a better side.
Will finish above them.
But will struggle in a one off March

Yeah, we play better against open sides but the kids are still learning how to break down stubborn, well drilled defences!

Tbf, James wasn't at his best today, That said, apart Jorg, everyone else was poor, Glad he's getting valuable minutes to help him with the fitness level.

Yeah I think it could just be sharpness tbh. He's built like a middleweight boxer the guy!
I remember ashley coles first 5-10 games for us he was terrible, but look how he turned out. Lastnight was nothing to write home about but wasn't like he made a terrible glaring error or anything.

I thought our two cbs played well though as well as jorgino.

Jorghi did not impress me much, to be honest!,thought Billy G was our best player.

Really? Jorginho had a game high interceptions, team high amount of tackles, was constantly breaking up play and moving the ball on.
I didn't see much of gilmour at all lastnight. Am going to try watch the game again at some point.

Jorginho was by far our best player. Made a lot of interceptions and was the only one who tried to maintain some control in possession.

I thought Gilmour struggled to make any impact on the game. Missed a good opportunity to play, was it CHO through? If he didn’t delay the pass. I think he needs a loan to gain some confidence and adapt to the physicality of first-team football.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah have to admit that as the game progressed you could see that Gilmour just wasn't effecting it enough and we got overrun in CM in that first half. He does look very good on the ball but I agree that a season long loan where he plays every week would suit him a lot. There's definitely a top player in there and a potential future regular for us.

Yeah...good choice to blood him...but you can only have so many youngsters in the side...needs game time on loan

I watched it out of patriotism but had no idea what was going on, I had no idea why all those penalties were being given. The play just looked all the same to me.

Finished watching it and felt Rugby really is as dour as I thought it was!

I think that is very harsh....name me a team that has beaten Australia, NZ and Sa on the bounce in the space of three weeks.

Rugby isn't football, it exacts a much more physical toll on players.....SA were just physically stronger than us and used the tactics to their advantage, yes we played badly, but that was as much down to SA as it was to us

It was the 1st time I've watched a game of Rugby, since the Army v Navy game at Twickenham (although I can't remember too much about that as it's more of an alcohol fest than a sporting event) in 2012.

I just thought it was an awful spectacle and a reminder of why I never watch the game.

It was awful and that is the way SA play. The game last week was much more pleasing on the eye and also agst Australia.

the game today.....i can't see what young kid would say he wants to start playing Rugby after watching that....it was like watching paint dry

So I just saw a bad game?

Not too sure I'd know the difference between a good one or bad on too be honest!
