Morning gents, long day yesterday. Managed to keep drinking till about midnight despite being fairly trolleyed.

I take back my point about starting Morata instead of Giroud, he was shocking to say the least.

Barkley proving to be an effective player at the moment, can see him starting ahead of Kovacic from now on.

3 main worries from the game as highlighted before the season started - our defence, especially Luiz and Alonso. No striker and heavily reliant on Hazard

Kovacic is very very tidy, and looks a great player, but he , at least for me, needs to start affecting games more. He is kinda like hazard but not as good at any one thing.

Agree, Our three poorest players were alonso, luiz and morata.

Icardi scored the winner in the Milan Derby last night that's the type of striker we need right now!

Would love Icardi here. We've missed the boat now by giving Morata another season. Apparently Conte might want Icardi at Real Madrid.

Fair enough. It's difficult to score him because he doesn't really do anything apart from run around to little effect and fall over unnecessarily.

Starting to wonder what might have been had we landed Higuain back in the summer. Doubt we'd have kept Morata at the club either.

he really does fall back at the first instance. Just everything about him is wrong, his movement, his decision making, his lack of strength, his finishing.
