Just as I said it eventually would a few weeks back when most didn't want to hear it and were questioning whether Lamps was up to the job etc.

Annoyed with Frank today. I wanted Giroud to start. I always felt crosses from Reece would be our best chance to score agst Spurs. Tammy is not a great header of the ball.

I think that, sorry, I know that was just a bit of Jose bravado to try and deflect the interviewer highlighting how negative they were!

Biggish, I am not worried about Spurs. I think we are far better than them. We've already played them twice this season home and away and as both games clearly illustrated, there is certainly nothing to fear there. Winning a game on a penalty shoot-out has very little qudos to me (nice though it is for them) and has no bearing on the 2 league games we will play against them. I'd happily play them again tomorrow at the Lane and not lose a moments sleep about it.

No Tammy isn't a great header of the ball but Giroud doesn't always shine when he starts either.

Werners disallowed goal aside, the biggest danger we threatened to manifest on the $purs goal in the 1st half was when Tammy burst into their penalty area!

Nor me 69, they've been turned into a functional but bland team who show little desire to go out and win the game.

I'm wondering how they're feeling, watching football that they said they'd hate to see their team to play, mentored by a manager they said they'd never want to see at their club!
