I've stuck a few quid on a 2-5 victory

Some of their football atm is sublime, amazing what a lift their new boss has given them

Torreira is our big difference. Not just from Wengers last season's but also the opening two games. We get the ball back a lot quicker with him, allowing us to break far more frequently, and to better effect.

Hopefully Palace can put a dent in their confidence today, but I doubt it somehow.
If they come at us the way I expect, I think we can punish them on the counter, as their defence doesnt look the best, but either way, it promises to be a good game.

Arsenal are just punching way above where they should be

Other than front two, the rest are bang average

They won't like Liverpool pressing them from the off and constantly and will give away silly goals

They've been very fortunate in so many of their wins, the luck will run out soon

They are about to meet a genuinely top 4 side next and that is something they fail at

Should be a cracking game, but hopefully we’ll have too much for them, with our attack showing signs of approaching last season’s levels.

We’ll have to be near the top of our game though, because Arsenal are capable of beating us if not.

I wish people could understand that we don’t need to have an amazing record against the top 5/6 sides to get into the top 4.

We used to flat track bully our way into the top 4 in previous seasons gone by and we may well do that again.

Our target this season isn’t to win or even compete for the title, it’s to get Champions League football. Whether that’s done via Europa League or getting into the top 4 spots doesn’t matter to me. Just so long as we can do it.

I’m still not sure if we will, but we have a much better chance than I, and everyone else, thought we had at the beginning of the season.

Not trying to be funny, but what have Spurs shown this season exactly apart from disappointing their fans when it matters? Failed to beat a subpar PSV side & got beaten by a mediocre Inter Milan team in Europe. You then crumbled against Watford and got absolutely annihilated by Liverpool. A 2-1 win for them was definitely not a reflection of how that game went.

Contrary to what you and your arrogant fans may believe, there isn’t much between Spurs and Arsenal at the moment. And I can guarantee you there won’t be much difference separating the sides by the end of the season.

For all this talk of you guys being far superior to us, there’s been very little evidence of it so far.

When we get our full squad back and they had few games, then you'll see the diff between the two clubs

Beating small clubs and yet to get any injuries to your main players

Not at all worried about them tbh. Not saying they wont beat us but over the course of a season and given the thin squad Id fancy us to finish above them.

Arsenal are extremely dangerous for us and I feel some of us are too confident.

Not our problem if you pick up injuries and we don't.

Even if your full squad is back, it doesn't actually matter tbh. You're not that much better than us. And we have better squad depth than you. Cos, y'know, football is a squad game, it's not all about first XIs.

Think Arsenal can give any team a tough game at the minute with the form they're on. They have a lot of belief and confidence, and some dangerous players who are playing well.

Heard Merson say the other day that he expects an easy game for Liverpool. I wouldn't be too surprised if Arsenal managed to win.

Not being flippant but not worried about them at all. Far to open and Vs us thats the worst flaw u can have.

We are fast at the back and fast up front....100% arsenal will struggle.

We will take that tbh, nobody expected much from us at the start of the season. People keep writing us off even though we have two of Europe’s most consistent strikers who do not need to many chances to find the net. A rejuvenated Iwobi, Ozil in fire, Torreira stats wise the best dm in the prem. Yeh but don’t be worried mate. Although I have imense respect for Liverpool some of you are just bang arrogant.

Arsenal haven't had any injuries? Well apart from our club captain, all our left backs, our #10, our 1st choice keeper...

I think it's fair for Liverpool fans to be going into this game confidently. Them and City are certainly in projects which are well ahead of ours at the moment and beating them isn't really going to define our season. Completely agree with Samir that CL football is the aim and that can still be done if our poor form vs top 4 clubs continues.

Expect a Liverpool win but we have the capacity to cause an upset. Excited to see our squad tested against them, particularly the defence. Unlike Cardiff, we have a chance!

Your full squad? You got your top striker playing, your top creative midfielder, your top cb all playing. Not being funny but apart from alli who on his day is a quality player, who else are you missing?.

Can’t argue with you Jimmy

They are good up top but don’t look great at the back

Don’t think we are unbeatable by any means but do think we’re better than Arsenal at this moment in time

Our last two games (Red Star and Cardiff) were the only time for me that we’ve shown glimpses of last season

I assume you missed West Ham, Spurs and PSG.

Defensively I'm glad there are fewer glimpses of last season.

We are missing Vertonghen and Rose too. Vert has arguably been our best CB the past season or so, and Rose was coming into some good form prior to his injury, and we know that when he's at his best he's one of the best RBs in the league, whereas Davies has been poor this season so far.

Arsenal do look good though, and this is the closest in quality that the two teams have been in a while.

Rose has been in an out, there have been times he’s even been sub. Il give you Vert although alderwierld is is probs your best defender talking to my Spurs mates. Most of your big guns are in, don’t think you can use your squad as an argument at the mo. Think you fellow fan is reaching, spurs are a quality side tho as much as it pains me to say it. It will be tight til the end, hoping we can drag a few more sides into 3rd and 4th fight.

I try to avoid commenting on players from other teams but, Danny Rose is a special player. Since he's come back from injury he's been very good indeed. Why Spurs would even contemplate selling him is beyond me.

Returning to my post, Bellerin on his day puts in a very good shift. Anyone got views on Leno?
