just shouldve agreed to play at wembley for 2 seasons ffs was never going to happen in 1 season and its getting delayed even more by the day. We were fed lies and false hope yet again, the club never fails with that.
So those faulty safety systems is taking a year to sort out?

He didn't say specifically why he expected it to be at least March before we go in but that would be just one part.
From what Levy and other official comms have said I get the feeling that our goal of moving in this calendar year was with a view that the stadium wouldn't be completely finished anyway but we'd play and they would carry on finishing off in the background like we did with the tearing down of the stadium.
They've probably thought it's already delayed now. Might as well try and get it all done before we open rather than a half-arsed completion which is fair.
But ultimately, it's either poor planning or communications or both from Spurs.
I think it will be ready way before March, inside is finished as far as I know, just cosmetic stuff on the outside to finish. I reckon January sometime, probably Man United match.

we are going to have an awesome stadium to be proud of for generations to come.
We are 4th in the league, 3 points off the mighty unbeaten Liverpool, and 1 behind in-form Chelsea despite 8 away games and injuries to key players.
Yes this is a difficult season with the stadium situation, injuries, lack of signings and fixtures. But this has been out BEST EVER PREMIER LEAGUE START.
Fecking Spurs fans !!!
Given the delays it would now be best IMO to wait until it is 100% complete rather than moving in as soon as possible and spending months on snags and extras etc
We should also focus on the fact that it will be the best in Britain once complete

sounds lovely but every game we are not there we are losing money. Wembley attendances (bar Chelsea) are now restricted to 51k. We're paying a hefty hiring fee while refunding tickets to ST holders.
We need to get in ASAP and will do so as soon as its passed as safe.
I think things are going a bit ott with Man City. While there is a difference in quality it is only the recent result that sets us apart. Reverse the result and we would be a point clear at the top.

Public image takes a bigger knock if we stay at Wembley all season.
Once this place opens, all will marvel in its awesomeness and the troubles we've had achieving it will be forgotten, or at least put into perspective.
They had a gathering of club bigwigs at the new stadium a few days ago, in one of the lounges with food and drink etc. Why would they bother doing something like that if completion was not close?
I can`t wait for December and the promised update, hopefully it can open in January and no later than February.
Surely once all the work is completed, any relevant safety certificates can be completed in a matter of days or at the worst a couple of weeks.
It`s all so frustrating and Spursy.

actually we'd be behind LFc on GD.
But i take your point although i would say it shows that we are small margins away from being very competitive. What City are achieving is amazing. 100 pts last season is simply brilliant. only 4 dropped this season which puts them on target for 100 again!!
IMO we are doing well to remain competitive given our circumstances and the way we have built our team vs the approach they have taken (which has prompted UEFA investigation)

Agree with you, been saying it for ages.
Firstly how did the club think we’d build such a large stadium from scratch in 15 months, considering another similar sized stadium in the emirates took 22 months?
Secondly, how the fack does a 15 month project run at least 6 months late? Not as if we suffered from some unforeseen natural disaster such as a facking volcano eruption, it was just plain bad planning and unrealistic expectations being set. Off the back off the mess we’ve made, Brentford actually increased the original timeframe to build their new stadium so as to avoid the embarrassment we’ve faced.
But i take your point although i would say it shows that we are small margins away from being very competitive. What City are achieving is amazing. 100 pts last season is simply brilliant. only 4 dropped this season which puts them on target for 100 again!!
