Dunno if I’m that keen on the idea of him being a pundit/commentator at the world championships. He’s a legend, and it’s his stage, but that’s probably why it would be a bad idea as he’d just make everything about him like he usually does. When you are playing and you are Phil Taylor, ok, but when you are outside looking in it’s probably not the best idea.

problem for smith is he gives away so many chances, so when he does these against the likes of mvg and anderson he's going to get punished time and tim eagain

He's not "perfect" or capable of being "perfect" enough over such a long format against the likes of mvg, cross, anderson. So no i don't make him one of the favs

cross mvg final will be good
If MVG gets to the final, which is looking likely, we need Cross to get there as he’s the only one that would make it a competitive final.

only cross and anderson can even beat MVG over this format, and even then it's a stretch the form Cross has been in he's not at the same level yet (might still peak) and i don't think Ando is even good enough anymore
