If they are then i'd worry for Liverpool. If the past two seasons are anything to go by, Gerrard is definitely over the hill.

He can still do the business when the chips are down surely

Save our season???

Ha, we lost a game and played badly. Shock horror. It happens.

Woudl you not be more concerned about your superstar striker missing an open goal from 5 yards out, than worrying about Liverpool?

Not really. We played well as a team that is more important; and loss to the best club in Europe bar Barca

So because you are happy to lose by playing at your best, you need to worry about Liverpool playing badly in a match?

Thats a bit strange I have to admit.

Me thinky you bitter cos we got 50mil of your russian cash and you got Torres.

Still, good shirt sales I guess?

Yes. We are looking good this season already. AVB is already remodelling the side four games in and we played surprisingly well v England's most successful club

25 million in shirt sales already but I would rather 25 goals mate.

But, yep, part of the reason we paid so much for a 30m player is that he sells most shirts globally bar messi and ronaldo due to his looks etc.

He sells most shirts in the Prem and emerging markets (Brazil amd SA, India, USA) which we are looking to get into seeing as United have the rest of the world tied up.

Lets be honest you lost 3-1 and your happy with how you played. Looks like Chelsea are taking the Arsenal approach. Concede goals and lose, but at least you played well. Good luck to you.

Not really Dave. AVB is 4 games into reign and we are third. We did not lose at Stoke too.

AW is 400 games into his reign.

KK is 40 games into his reign and still dependent on Stevie

Why on on earth would you make such camparisons? Pele's a defender, the rest of the players you've mentioned are all forwards.
