Liverpool may ask for Harry to go back!

I doubt we'll ask for it tbh. Hes doing well there.

James Peace of the Echo says we won't recall him unless we suffer a huge injury crisis.

That weasel word "may" 2R, much beloved of tabloid journalists. We "may" get Salah or Mane in exchange but somehow I doubt any of this.

John Percy reporting this morning that Liverpool are delighted with Harry’s development and won’t be recalling him back in January.

He’s doing well and performing, think we’ll leave him where he is!

posted on 7/12/18

It is a 'may' as in they 'can' do it under the agreement. As to the chances of them doing it - I think it's up to Liverpool injuries and suspensions

posted on 7/12/18

All 3 parties have to agree to it so it ain’t going to happen.

If Liverpool want harry and harry wants to go back, he will go back even if Derby want him to stay

You are correct Griff. But maybe they don't actually need him and his signature has increased in value substantially under Frank. I hope they just let it ride as it is currently arranged.

It is important to point out only that Liverpool can ask for his return under the contract country to saying they want him back.

55

Standard Loans

55.1

Subject to the provisions of Regulation 54, Standard Loan transfers shall only be approved in accordance with following provisions:

55.1.1

subject to the proviso that the duration of a Standard Loan must be the time between two Transfer Windows, Standard Loans can be for half a Season or a full Season;

55.1.2

any recall clause requiring the early termination of a Standard Loan can only be included in a full Season Standard Loan and this can only be activated during the Winter Transfer Window;

55.1.3

any other early termination of a Standard Loan must be by way of a mutual agreement in writing (including by way of a recall clause within the Standard Loan Agreement) between the Transferor Club, the Transferee Club and the Player but can only be completed:

a)after the expiry of 28 days; and

b)only during a Transfer Window (but subject to Regulation 55.1.4 below) unless otherwise agreed by the League in its absolute discretion (subject to such conditions as the League deems appropriate)

.................................................................................
Which means that, if I read it right, the recall clause must have been inserted into the loan agreement and, if they want to, Liverpool could recall him in the January window only (and maybe, from what Frank has said, within a limited period of that window).

If they do, it wouldn't need all parties to agree, just Liverpool relying on that clause. In theory, even Harry wouldn't need to agree to it.

But he wont go back as he's playing regularly for us and would only be a bench warmer at best for them.

Chrissie wanted to come home, Wally wanted him to come home, but he didn't come home.

Why Griff?

VC10 - because we didn't include a recall clause which Liverpool have done... alledgedly

posted on 7/12/18

Because Fulham didn’t allow him to go back to a promotion rival, but do you think Derby will stop Wilson going back if he wanted to go back and have a player not happy being at the club seeing how Liverpool aren’t competing with us.

Liverpool know that a player who likes to score outside the box is being coached by the record holder for goals scored outside the box. They wont give that up unless they suffer an injury crisis.

posted on 7/12/18

Tbf to Liverpool I don’t think they need Wilson atm

posted on 7/12/18

True Griff, unless they want to win the U23s league.

If we have paid the alleged loan fee i have heard banded about and allowed Liverpool to insert a recall clause, then we as a club really are stupid.

posted on 7/12/18

A % of the loan fee is due to be paid in jan. if Liverpool recall Wilson this won’t be paid just like when Ibe returned in jan 2015

posted on 7/12/18

Saw a comment elsewhere, that said they might want him back if they go into the Europa League, where the games are closer to the weekend and they may want to save their top players for the Prem games

A day before the forest game we lost 1-2, threw us out of sync that season with Rogers recalling him and for what, SFA.
