Real downside from last night was the clown who threw the missile, says a lot for Salzburg their reaction post match considering that, hope someone shopped the clown needs his baws chopped off

I mean I really want to start a new article here

Positives -

To get through a group as tough with 9 points considering how poor we were at the start of it

Benkovic again proving he's a top top player

After a shocking first 25-30mins we actually managed to limit the chances they had with a decent defensive display despite losing Lustig and Jozo being a man down

Negatives

Our all round play on the ball was abysmal, I don't even think Salzburg had to play as well as they can we didn't look up for it at any stage, we were second to everything, our passing at that level was a complete and utter embarrassment

Rogic, my word he was awful, he's been inconsistent all season, he got found out a bit last night he cant cope when a games played as frantically as that

Jozo, please Dedryck come back quickly..by quickly I mean Sunday

Christie injury gutted for him, great tackle aswell, he had started the second half well

McGregor and Forrest were dealt with superbly, I thought their captain was the best player on the park

I'd rather blame Gordon for the first goal than the 2nd, that 2nd one was a mistake that every goalkeeper will make at some point in their careers, the first the header was straight at him, also in the first half he punched away a cross that was about 1ft off the ground with no one near him, I'm not having he had a great game tbh, kicking awful again, the save from the 1 on 1 was straight at him and the save from the header at the start was good because he was so far out of position, we need an upgrade

see apart from the first 25-30mins I don't even think Salzburg looked that up for it and they still looked more up for it than we did that isn't good

The honest truth is that we are miles away from being a truly competitive side in Europe. Every occasion that we have come up against good European sides we have been ragdolled

Hopefully the promised signings in January will help but we are still way short of what it takes in Europe.

It was very pleasing to see BR whilst praising the campaign so far also being disappointed with the game on the night.

I said afterwards to my mates Rodgers would've been the only person in that ground raging at full time

Think it's nonsense to say they weren't that up for it, they hunted in packs all over the flooking pitch for 90 minutes

Their two strikers were chasing back out full backs all game and everything.


That said, i agree with everything else Ghod.

See that guy Dabur, how much did he cost?

I'd sign him in a heartbeat.

Gordon made 3 great saves in the game but his kicking put us into trouble on countless occasions and he should have been out for a few crosses too.

Rodgers was shaking his had just to add, not Gordon.

Salzburg proved yet again if you press us high up the park we can be a very very average team

apart from the header a can't really remember any more great saves

the header from the corner straight at him, the 1 on 1 was straight at him

infact Dabburs header in the second half from about 5 yarda out was decent
