only 2 outcomes both which are bad? lets just give up now then
Outcome 3
Ole continues to do well, keeping the ship steady and players happy for the remainder of season, board then convince Poch to take over and build on Ole's good work
Everyone knows Sokajlsker will win us the CL like he did as a player (also see Di Matteo) What we need to be thinking about is who is the best man to RETAIN the CL next year. The bad thing for us is that Poch will come in and will be expected to better Solksjair and will probably only win the CL next season so no improvement on Solkajdjer. Tough times ahead for us.
There's absolutely no guarantee of anything in football. Poch doesn't just come in and win the title guaranteed. He may do but he may also flop too. That's the risk.
If we do well for next 5 months, the football is good, the fans are all happy and the players are all giving their all for Ole.....I think he may get the gig. A lot can happen before then though.
The idea that anyone is going to take this moody bunch and turn them into a fighting force in double quick time is laughable.
Klopp finished eighth in his first season at Liverpool.
Plenty of time for the limitations of both Solskjaer and the team to be revealed between now and May.
Of course it doesn’t help when the commentators claim that Rashford scoring from five yards out was down to the Norwegians coaching acumen! đ
I think we need to hear the views of Black Starr before this thread can make any meaningful progress.
What if we keep ole and he does well next year

I reckon in that scenario he'd do well next year, if we keep him.

Best result imo. No guarantee with poch.
OP
You have bought yourself a fake infinity stone, if you can only see two options.
Take the think back to Argos and get a refund.
Two very possible outcomes.
Other outcomes are;
- Ole doesn't do well
- Ole stays and does well
- Ole leaves on a high and the next manager does well
You make a poor Dr Strange (whoever that is)
I'll counterbalance this negative article with this:
Ole does so well, he delivers top 4, wins FA Cup and the Champions League. Next season he does the quadruple. He then goes on to manage the club for longer than SAF did, and has a better trophy haul, surpassing the number of CL wins that Real Madrid have, as well as holding the record for number of Club World Cup trophies. Utd then go on to clone him, and the cycle repeats itself. Happy days.

All makes sense apart from the cloning. By that time we will be living in a virtual world controlled by AI, so he would live forever... well until the heat death of the universe anyway.

And seconds before the heat death of the universe, Sheringham will head the ball towards Ole's primordial right boot once more...
really have to wait and see how you guys do against top of the league teams but i doubt jose would be a perfect 4 and 0. maybe your performances are better because of less pressure because of how bad it was.
interesting to see how you will start next season, but the football is already much easier on the eye.
also i wonder how good poch would actually do if you got him. tottenham is a good team, is the manager doing enough.
maybe your performances are better because of less pressure because of how bad it was.
................
Much more to it than that.
Outcome 6: poch comes in and blows 600m in two windows but ends up with huge names falling out and not performing. Poch leaves, ole comes back.
Maybe we just enjoy the moment. Rejoice at the way we are playing, but don’t get too carried away.
After the 5 and a half seasons of mediocrity, I don’t want to think about what comes next, I’m just enjoying free flowing football.
