I don’t think Aguero can do anything Kane can’t tbh but I think Kane can do better hold up and link up play.
Also those that think Kane is a tap in merchant are beyond clueless
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Kane has a pretty solid all round game, and is very clinical, also has a great shot on him. He’s a very good player..Aguerr has the ability to beat players easier than Kane, he’s faster, better centre of gravity and arguably has superior technique, and is more two footed.
As I said, both are quality and need to be used differently.

Kane is brilliant. I don’t think he’s playing at the level he was a couple of seasons ago though, where his all round game was better and he was scoring all types of goals. Still a top striker. Aguero is probably better in that he’s a more devastating player when on his game. I think Aguero can do most of what Kane does but Kane can’t destroy a team with his pace and dribbling ability as they aren’t on the same level in that regard, he relies more on his teammates than the Argentine.

Kane is actually a very decent mid to long rang passer as well, something which appears to go unnoticed
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah he's quite good from deep and his long passing is better than his short.
I think people can forget some of the goals he's scored too. He's got good balance for his size. Shifts it well too. You can tell he's worked incredibly hard on his game.
I never really enjoyed watching peak Barca either but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate it.
You just get that feeling that Aguero was born to play football.

Probably go along with that bar the two footed part. Kane is very two footed.
Think iirc Kane scores 30% of his goals with his left foot which a incredible number really
I get what you’re saying Robbing. Aguero looks very light footed around the pitch where Kane looks like a lumbering fool
30% with his left is great.

Ace, totally agree. This article isn’t me saying “Kane is better than Aguero” but more to point out how ridiculous it is that people still to this day doubt Kane and clearly know nothing about him as a player. Both on the same level and both world class strikers.
What I was trying to say, probably badly, is that Aguero is easier on the eye for the neutral. And all stats being equal, you'd rather watch a player who's more fun to watch.
Yeh he probably is, but Kane’s no donkey with the balk mate. People underrate him so much when it comes to technical ability. Kane is brilliant technically. He might not be as fast and skilful as Agustin, but his finesse and outstanding intelligence and creativity at times is fantastic.
Aguero *
F**** iPhone!!!!
Both are brilliant and it simply comes down to style preference. They have a pretty identical goals per game ratio but Kane has been more durable. If he continues in his current trajectory he'll have a strong case for being considered the better goal scorer of the two by the time their careers end.
Aguero has been amazing though. I find it pointless trying to praise one by discrediting the other. Aguero's football is definitely more aesthetically pleasing.
Surprisingly though, Kane has more player of the month awards.
"Surprisingly though, Kane has more player of the month awards."
From 1993-2018 only 6 non-Brits won the league managers award
It's not too surprising when we win awards over foreigners
Always thought Aguero fails to get the acclaim he deserves. Always seems a secondary thought when people discuss City or top strikers.
Kane and Aguero are both top strikers.
I would never try to argue one is better than the other - that's simply schoolboy claptrap.
That said, I think Kane's market value would be quite a bit higher with the kind of clubs that have him on their shopping list.
Kane as it stands is the bet striker in the country, no question about that. Aguero used to be but that was about four years back. Still very good, but Kane all day long now.
Kane is more than just a striker as well. Some of is passing is up their with the best any midfielder could offer.
Tap in merchant.
Considering sandy only watches Spurs games it is quite strange he feels in a position to judge who is the best striker in the country. I guess in the games he watches Kane scores a lot more than the rest.
Personally, I would rather have Kane and think his all round play is better, and that he is better outside the penalty area as well, which is important given how Tottenham play.
Aguero suits the Man City style and is explosive in and around the penalty area, which is what Pep asks him to do. Still would rather have Kane.
You have to laugh at the complete non sense that has been spouted on this thread. Like, ‘ Kane isn’t as much an all round a striker as a few years ago’. If anything he is a far more complete striker than any other season.
Easy aswell to overlook Kane is just 25. History books if Kane goes at this rate the rest of his career, will show Kane as the superior player.
Harry Kane is great, maybe the best finisher in the world, and he’s English so have a soft spot for him.
But aguero does have more to his game and is a much better all round player.
Can still appreciate both who when there careers are over will most likely both be in the top 5 pl strikers of all time.
