No, this is not a mistake at all.:
1) Ramsey is highly inconsistent. And has more bad games than good games. A guy that can give you a consistent 6/10 every week is needed. No midfielder in Arsenal frustrates me more with misplaced passes, dithering on the ball, needless pirouettes and skills etc than Ramsey. The 2016/2017 season where he scored his first goal in the last league game against Everton was a real banter season where the caant was just coasting delivering abysmal performances week in, week out.
2) He is too injury prone. Not a lot of long-term injuries these days, but muscular injuries are guaranteed every 2 months or so that he is fit.
3) He has no loyalty to a club that showed him loyalty at his lowest. This is not emphasized enough but I find it highly disappointing that many of our players try to fleece the club. That Ramsey would dare ask for anything like the wages I have heard quoted repulses me. He can fack off.
