Hopefully they will be asked to play for Aitor tomorrow.

And I expect the team to be close to one Aitor would have picked.

Yep I wonder if we will see either of the two Portuguese players on the bench again?

Dias must have put up a better show in training than he ever did in games.
If Pants is still carrying a back injury or jolted spine, that can be very painful and take longer than two weeks to fully go away, perhaps Steele will start?

With Smith on loan to Mansfield, should Pants be injured that leaves Forest with just one senior keeper.

To be honest this match could end up any score at all, from 0-0 (highly unlikely) to a comfortable win for either team. We have no idea what effect the latest drama’s will have caused, not sure if there was a ‘split’ in the dressing room, or not. I will go for a 3-2, probably to the Royals, based solely on our record against lower league (position) teams, MIllwall for example.

Henderson!, so if Pants has a lay off we'll be fine then!

Interesting that Derby have been smashed twice by the Dirties and Franks still in a job.

No, it’s far worse to beat them. Proper jeopardy then...

Better not answer that, the new guy has to hit the ground running otherwise............'bad to worse' springs to mind.

----------------------------------------------------------------------I am so disappointed that AK felt that he had been placed in such a position that he was forced to leave the club. He was the best manager we have had for years. I have been feeling really upbeat about Forest since he was appointed. The football we have been playing has been truly impressive at times. The other thing (unrelated to football), is that he is from the city where I live in Spain. I have friends who are friends of his family here. People here have been following Forest because of the local links.

Now, I feel like I felt when, for example, Maclaren was selected, totally ambivalent.

Of course, I will continue to follow and support the club as I have for at least about 60 of my 67 years, but for this game I feel a little deflated, to put it mildly.

By the sounds of it, they kept pushing until he threw his hands up and gave up. Apparently, Marinakis asked him to stay on Thursday but I suspect that was more an attempt to save face.

They’re going to have to work so hard now to prove they haven’t made a serious error by trying to devolve responsibilities to these various Greeks in the back room.

Never a truer saying ‘beware of Greeks bearing gifts’.😂
