Not particularly a fan of it but I do it regularly. Always separate items into relevant bins. Sadly one of them had blown over this morning and I had to pick up lots of tins and plastic scattered over my garden.

I cycle 20-30 miles a day to work and back.

Oh and yes I kick wing mirrors off cars when the drivers are on their phones. Anyone on a phone in a car should be locked up as they are a danger to society

I was knocked of my bike by someone on their phone as she didn’t see me.

I had four operations and can’t walk properly anymore. I can’t run or kick a football.

Anyone on their phone driving is the caaant not the one educating them by kicking off their wing mirrors

People are killed everyday by drivers on their phones. Only a couple of people have died from cyclists and that is usually because a pedestrian walks out in front of them without looking.

I had four operations and can’t walk properly anymore. I can’t run or kick a football.

Anyone on their phone driving is the caaant not the one educating them by kicking off their wing mirrors

I'm not denying the stupidity of using a phone whilst driving. But there are strict laws against this now. I'm assuming you wear one of those camera things? Get the number plate and send it to the police. Not only is it more of a deterrent than kicking off wing mirrors, but you not damaging cars potentially saves other people going through what you went through.

Honestly, it is an utterly stupid thing to do in the interest of road safety. You are no better than the people using their phones.

Don’t agree with people using phones whilst driving, it’s out of order, for reasons you mentioned- dangerous.

But I also do t really want bikers on the road. They are annoying, slow everything down and look like a bunch of muppets in their stupid gear. Ideally should be cycle lanes everywhere for them, but in practice it’s not always possible without great investment

Stop trying to play the big man

If you went past someone on their phone on your bike in say a traffic jam, you'd be past them before you had chance to kick wing mirrors off. If they went past you on their phone then they'd be long gone before you had a chance.

I agree though. People talking on phones whilst driving are appalling.

Also, the amount of times a cyclist has nearly hit me when jumping a red light is insane.

A good chunk of cyclists don't follows the laws of the road at al.

More if you turn a corner and out of nowhere one of those cyclists are there going painfully slow, causes you to swerve or brake heavily.

No,I mean it was my routine and my love for football & exercise which got my locally famous but not in the entire city.There is a difference in being well-known in two to three suburban aread and being known well in an entire city or district.Fathom that!

But if you are not able to drive properly or if you think you would cause an accident then you shouldn't use a phone.

I use a phone whilst driving to text and call but I have never been involved in an accident because of using a phone

That's true. I used to live in a mountainous area and always feared a cyclist around the bend. That said they're doing nothing wrong and have as much right to the road as cars, trucks, motorbikes and horses. They also pay the same percentage of tax to road building and maintenance despite current misconceptions

A car could wipe out ten cyclists with ease, a cyclist would barely dent a car as they're killed...

I was in Copenhagen the other week. Lots of cyclists there, and they have cycle lanes everywhere. Makes things a lot more efficient. But cycle lanes the same colour as the pavement so I kept accidentally walking along them instead.

Cars jump lights all the time as well

There are idiot cyclists and idiot drivers. What makes me laugh is all drivers hate cyclists and brand is all with the same tag. We jump lights. I don’t and there are many that don’t.

People saying cyclists shouldn’t be on the road yet their cars are polluting the cities. London is one of the most polluted cities in the world now. Cars are killing us not cyclists
