The only thing in question here with happenings is morality & if Bielsa can sleep at night then all good.

Took the words put my mouth Rev. If we had a bonafide rule that held weight and was broken, it would be all over the news.

They ain't got sht on us, other than a finger wag. All they are doing is galvanizing the club, fans and squad.

Passed on the support from the USA, this site and the other site for MB to someone in the club, who promised to share it with MB tomorrow.

Can see Derby play every match day.
This really is a storm in a tea cup.
At most, they could introduce rules regarding spying
Somehow I doubt it
On the scale of cheating it’s not on the scale.

Stuart Pearce has today suggested that the result should be reversed so that the punishment fits the crime.

What are these people on.

Let's allow teams to spy on us. We'd still smash them

Can't help shaking feeling that the judge jury and executioner that is the EFL will come down hard on this flying in the face of all the logic that has been pointed out on here and come up with their own twisted logic to back up their punishment.

It's a shame we are once again at the mercy of them.Got to circle the wagons, win as many games as we can and stick 2 fingers up at Sky, EFL, washed out ex players so that if any punitive punishment is handed out we go up anyway.

we fully deserve to be investigated and punished for this. The manager has held his hands up and admitted to it, we just have to take it on the chin. The fans who always jump up and crying foul at the football league are devaluing any genuine complaints and grievances we have. Lets just accept we are in the wrong and move on.

I would add though that Lampard's comments smack of hypocrisy and this is a very convenient controversy for him to jump on to take the spotlight from his sides faltering campaign.

I don't think we deserve to be punished at all. to be punished you have to do something wrong. there is nothing in the rule book that says we can't spy on other teams training sessions.

I'm trying to take my Leeds blinkers off on this one, and how would I feel if somebody was spying on our sessions. It honestly wouldn't bother me.

I don't thinks amoral either - I really don't, in fact, I would of thought its common practice.

I always try to convince myself that no footballing body "has it in for us", but each time something like this arises, I just get that nagging feeling we're being held to higher ethical, moral or financial standard. I doubt it's the case, but it does feel that way at times.

As for the actual incident - just seems to be something out of nothing. A breach of a code of ethics maybe - an unwritten code I believe? I read about Villas-Boas and his work for Mourinho, makes the Lampard incredulity all the more laughable. It's okay when he benefits, but an outrage when his team (expensive team) are played off the park and he has no answer to it.

I've a nasty feeling we'll be punished and will be made an example of .......

Where have you and all others spouting this been lately? CLEARLY rules have been broken.
This isn’t the issue.
The ONLY issue will be if there is any inconsistency of punishment above a small fine, as dished out last time a similar thing happened at Crystal Palace in 2014.

My take on it is that the EFL are not out to get us or whatever, but that there is more scrutiny on us not only because of our reputation but also because of media pressure. When something like this happens to Leeds then it's national news spread out across headlines. Notice this is only true of negative stories.

The media circus, including pundits and journalists, make the issue out to be more than it was, calling for radical punishments etc, and this puts pressure on the EFL to be seen as responding.

One would hope that they react similarly to the Pontus situation earlier in the year and give us a marginal punishment.

What an unfit for purpose organisation they are!

Deduct us 3 points, give Derby the win....I dare you Shaun!

All it will do is make us stronger, a harsh punishment will all but seal the deal on promotion in my opinion.

Found this, which what may go against us........

Rule B.16 states that "in all matters and transactions relating to the League, each club shall behave towards each other club and the league with the utmost good faith".
