exactly ... thats my feeling also.
he is only 25 so i suppose he could still mature and knuckle down but I just cant see it.
Had quite a good season on loan in Atlas in Mexico. It might have been an eye-opener for him to see lots of people tougher than him there, too. He's mid-20s now and might have grown up a bit. I've been following his progress/lack of progress for a few years now, from when he went to Lazio (where he initially received rave reviews), out to Atlas and now in limbo. Ravel is a massive, massive talent and it's not too late to get his career on track.

I dont know to be fair... when players talk about him they say off the field issues but dont really give any examples so hard to say. Ferdinand hinted it was maybe a focus thing and that he lacked that ability to come in and be committed every single training session which you need to have to really make it?
A loan deal from Lazio would make sense, for if he turns out to be a disruptive influence then you could be safe in the knowledge he'll be gone soon. If it works out, then it could be spectacular as he's undoubtedly got the technical ability.

Its probably not the type of risk I would take with the squad given the current position we are in.
He might come in and be a superstar. Or he might come in and be a disruptive diva who doesn't pull his weight on the park.
I think we have the basis of a decent squad right now if everybody is fit. With the addition of Defoe and Davis plus getting Dorrans and maybe even Murphy fit for the run in we have options.
Our squad is probably good enough to take the challenge to the split. Realistically I don't think we will win the league - but we do have an outside chance of causing an upset and stranger things have happened in football.
Taking a gamble on a player like Morrison is a bit unnecessary imo.

Yes, number 10 is where we need another player.
The guy is a crackpot though and him and Morelos in the same team means we'll be lucky to finish with 11 men most weeks.
Worth a gamble because of his talent but would need to be on our terms, a deal for 2 years with a get out after 6 months for us would work.

My mates brother was at youth coach at Utd and said he was the best young player he has ever worked with and he worked with Utd's golden generation.

We paid Forest a loan fee and have supposedly asked for more than the fee we paid for them to get him back
If he genuinely wants to get his career back on track and is capable of keeping his head together then I'm pretty confident SG would be good for him.
