I actually think there should be an end date to the driving licence and it should be 80 or maybe 85 tops. Ridiculous that anyone should be trying to drive at 97 FFS Mr Magoo springs to mind. Has been in and out of hospital umpteen times recently as well, who the fack allowed him anywhere near a car, the cant would be dangerous steering a wheelchair!

65 is far too early to force someone to resit a driving test.

My old man is 82 in March and is still probably a better driver than me. Has to reapply for his license every three years, has to disclose any medical issues etc.

Only danger he is that he drives nearly everywhere in 5th gear.. winds me up 😂

Every two years after 65 you should have to get the all clear from an optician. Half of these auld kants can't see.
