I think arguing over a differential of circa 2% is a tad pedantic.

another one who cannot do simple mathematics!

and for Chr!sts sake Hoody, you love an argument about such details, whether written or numerical

FYI the difference between 24/48 (50%) and 22/48(45.8333%) is 4.1666%But it still stands that Son & Kane have not scored half our goals, which was the statement made, and considered to be worthy of its own thread by the fool who made the claim.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Yeah that's what circa means.

Feel free to be utterly pedantic though.

Someone who thinks 'math' is acceptable on an English website is a bit odd or semi literate and only a pedant would argue over less than 5% but I see one did.

Foolish child.

As explained, i was pulling the guy up on his statement that Kane & Son score half our goals. This is wrong. It is position that implies we rely on these guys to score all our goals, when actually we rely on them as much as most other teams rely on their main strikers.

We also have Alli (6), Eriksen (4), Lucas (6), Lamela (4) also providing goals.

In fact Liverpool have Salah (16) and Firmono (9) scoring 25 of their 54 goals. That's a greater proportion (46.3%) than Kane & Son (45.8%).

Aubameyang & Lacazette also have 22 of Arsenals 48 goals.

Kinda wish the be||end had made an article about the non-story that Spurs rely on our best 2 strikers, just like Liverpool and Arsenal do. It would have been fascinating

Maths is black and white. You're either wrong or right. You said 2%, you probably meant 2 goals, but heyho, you've continued the 'debate'. 4.6% (rounding up) is actually 230% larger. So, you're pretty far out.

If your boss said you'll be getting a circa 4.6% pay rise and you got 2%, you'd probably consider he's stretching the bounds of 'circa'

Give it up Dev. You’ve made your point.

And Alli is out too so that takes the percentage over 50 pc

Silly cild. If you have a PhD in a numerate subject i am happy to learn from you. If not then take your pedantry elsewhere than the City board.

Am I safe in saying that Spurs have now lost half or over half of their goal scorers, with Ali is out?

We only deal in precise percentages on this article.

I love the analogies made by desperate people on 606

It's normally mortgages or used cars in relation to net spend, bollox like that, but payrise percentages is a new one.

Carry on

Yeah? You sound like a fvcking geek mate.

"Actually I think you'll find that you're 4.6% out"

Worse than that.
There’s something serious going wrong with his real life that he feels the need to bring a generalisation to within 5 decimal points, and argue the toss over it with internet strangers.

Woohoo, I think its Aspergers so I will leave it. Doesn't excuse the childish insults though but explains the detail focus at the expense of the big picture.
