Just thinking that.

Levy is like, mate you’re only getting cheap youngsters with “potential” if you get anyone at all.

We are a mess. I actually think I hate Spurs at the moment. Yea yea that means I am a bad supporter and yes of course I understand we have good players blah blah blah. Its boring. We don't even have a home to go and watch out team. It's the lowest iv felt as a supporter in my 30 years supporting the club. It's the hope that does it and I am tyring to coach my brain into having no hope. This article helps.

Been saying for a while it’s about to start a rebuilding job.

Selling established stars in favour of more unproven youngsters is madness. It almost certainly won't bring us trophies.

United under Fergie, Kane would have been a shoe in. Not now I don't think. Real first, maybe United if he comes back.

Eriksen is 26! I will be very angry if he is sold using the justification that we're clearing out ageing stars. Even Toby as a centre back probably has 3 or 4 good years in him if we can keep him.

We obviously need the money from them to freshen up the squad

Hes just paved the way for Levy to cash in, poch takes the bullet. Was it in that 5 year contract? Poch getting cuts of the deals?

posted on 30/1/19

Its not all bad ofc aslong as the money is reinvested and done so wisely. Can be done but its risky business, odds are usually against you but its done none the less Dortmund Atletico etc seem brilliant at it.

Plenty of people warned you guy that this is what would happen. I remember being told by posters here that the (then) new TV money future sponsorship deals would cushion the financial weight of the new stadium, meaning you wouldn't be forced down the same path that Arsenal were.

At least you've a similarly good manager (as Wenger still was back then) to help keep things ticking over. But I'd get used to having to sell at least one of your first team squad every summer, as we did.

Perhaps now you'll finally understand why most of us stuck up for Wenger for as long as we did.

The summer will tell us all about Enic and their plans.

If they once again show limited ambition, I would say thanks to them and wish that they sell out to the wealthiest possible suitor.

I can`t face more years of being nearly men, I`m sick of watching the same movie time and time again, and we won`t be winning anything with a team full of kids.

Yep. I too said the same but Spurs fans insisted that the lack of transfers was simply because their squad were good enough to not need any transfers.

How are Spurs a mess, it is a natural thing for clubs to get rid of ageing players and bring in new ones, it has happened throughout the whole of football history. Players cannot play until they are 100.

We all knew Dembele needs replacing in the summer, we all know probably Toby at 30 will need replacing, as will Verts in a year or so, probably Rose as well, it is what it is. Age doesn`t wait for anyone.
