I've had the Forest flu for two months!!
What do we reckon today then?
Will the MoN revolution click back in to gear?
Has the dust settled after Karanxit sufficiently?
Without a win against Brentford in 12 years it is not the game that MoN would have fancied at this stage given how things have started. Defensive crisis shows no signs of abating with Ben the Loon out suspended, though Darikwa is now available again.
I would be tempted to shift Janko to LB, replace him with Darikwa and have Robinson and Milosevic in the centre. Janko did pretty well when deployed there against Derby.
Brentford arrive by the Trent having been on a bit of a goal spree recently. They’ve had some stonking wins at the CG in recent years. There could be a goal feat about to unfurl this afternoon.
That’s if the gale force winds don’t ruin it.

Forecast reckons they’ll slacken off early afternoon. 🤞🏼
Even if they do slacken off Will it is still going to be windy and definitely not an afternoon to hoof it up to Murphy. I've a feeling Bonatini will start today; maybe with Grabban alongside.
I think there will be changes today. MON was definitel more impressed with the eleven that finished the game (or should that be ten) than those who started.
The big question is who plays alongside Milosevic? Wague would definitely be a gamble, but Robinson at LB gives a better balance.
Wague had a thigh strain when he signed so it depends how that has healed over the week.
I would rather Robinson was LB too. Options are limited. Hopefully the fact that MoN hasn’t talked about Wague this week is because he will be fit to start and he doesn’t want to alert Brentford to it.

Bonatini and Grabban with Carvalho slotted in behind, please.
Results are all important from here on in.

I'd go the opposite, Will.

MON is starting from scratch, so start from the back and make us hard to beat. I'd even think about five at the back. Colback will be missed again. Brentford will have seen how Jota caused us problems and will ask perhaps Canos to do the same.
MON more likely to stick with four at the back though.
His team maybe
Pants
Darikwa Milosevic Wague Robinson
Watson Osborn
Cash Carvalho Lolley
Bonatini
Steele Janko Guedioura Yacob Grabban Appiah Murphy
I'd be very happy with a solid 0-0 today
I suppose that would be a better result than Forest have managed against them in years.
Just want us to start keeping clean sheets again.
That's the starting point if we want to progress.
Yes, that was one of Karanka’s strengths earlier on in the season. Forest were a tough team to score against. Injuries have been pretty cutting to the defence so it is no surprise that it has become a little more leaky.
Going to be a tough ask to keep a clean sheet against a team that have been on a scoring romp recently. Canos and Maupay are a dangerous combo. They also have a left sided midfielder, who’s name escapes me, who they were comparing with Carvalho in the week.
Queue meltdown in 5 minutes.
We have an attacking side, not sure we have the players or atleast those type of quality players to be defensive.
Get well RFB
#nffcPantilimon Janko, Milosevic, Robinson, Osborn Watson Cash, Yates, Bonatini, Lolley Grabban
Subs: Steele, Murphy, Carvalho, Wague, Goncalves, Yacob, Ansarifard
Looks a fairly decent team that.
