FT got that prediction right

Woeful performance and very lucky that Bournemouth missed three golden chances and a penalty.

Ref made some diabolical decisions, though he got their first penalty right. We shouldn't have had that penalty given but should have been given one that wasn't. Their second penalty was clearly outside the box and they should have had THREE sent off.

All in all a bloody good point

We were never going to win them all. Good point gained, despite the match thread.

We have a couple of scores to settle next week, every chance we'll be 6 points better off by this time next week.

I got told sarcasm didn't become me when I said i was surprised it wasn't a penalty when Adama was hacked down by Ake, it was only 5 or 6 yards outside the box

I have seen some bizarre games of football in my lifetime but this one probably takes the prize.
10 yellow cards awarded at least 5 of which were not yellow card fouls and including both keepers.
3 penalties awarded - 2 wrongly
1 blatant penalty not awarded
1 red card foul treated as a yellow

It was a strange one gem, ref made it harder than it needed to be for sure.

First pen was a close call i think, leg was in but player definitely looked to hit the ground as he was losing the ball anyway.

Their second was outside the box, but can see why the ref is unsure on that one and highlights exactly why VAR is neccessary.

Not there yet. We will need another three or four wins to be mathematically safe. No chance of finishing top seven as it looks like Jota might be out for the season with a fractured jaw. Neves also took a massive hit but hobbled on.

Still got an outside chance of an FA Cup defeat against Man City in either the semi or final but we need United to not turn up.

Ref coming in for plenty of criticism on soccer Saturday. Sounds like he lost it early on.

He made the first booking after like 8 seconds or something
