There is obviously merit in winning things. That's the business of football.
But you are saying that playing against better players week after week and challenging yourself to improve and develop is not a step up?
This is the exact reason that Rangers pulled out the youth league to play the series of friendlies against European teams.
And it is also why celtic want to pull out of next seasons reserve league and go down the same route as Rangers.

It's madness, he's a top left back in our league but he doesnt provide the kind of threat Tav provide. He's a much better defender but i honestly don't think he's as good as some have allowed themselves to believe.
