Bizarrely that might have been Traore’s best 45 minutes for us - at wing back

I said when we signed him that he actually started out as a full back and I thought he might have been signed for that position. He always looks good in wide positions and against teams who get men behind the ball; I think him and Vinagre cause problems.

I think against better teams, Doherty is much better as an option. But it is obvious we have struggled against teams who get men behind the ball and lack someone who will run and take players on.

Playing Adama there against a team who sits back allows him to isolate a player out wide and when he does that you know he will cause problems.

MGW looking much sharper today.
Bennett at risk of second yellow, I would take him off and put Donc at the back to have a practice at the position he will be playing in the next 2 league games. Neves on for Bennett

I’d play Saiss at the back to be honest and leave Dendoncker in midfield.

Saiss is better on the left, Donc better on the right

Move Boly across if we need to. Dendoncker covers the right sides centre back well from midfield, which is helping Traore get forward. We will lose more from the midfield if we move Dendoncker than if we move Saiss.
