I remember watching that AC Milan game after returning from football training at my local club that evening when i was living in The Netherlands.
Fabregas' performance inspired me to try and become the best CM i could be! That goal he scored from outside the box was a beaut.
"On a side note, can’t believe it’s been 11 years since that game. It’s been 8 since that win vs Barca."
Time flies - i'm desperate for us to be back in the top European competition next season like all of you are too no doubt.

Pretty much this. Being back in the CL doesn’t excite me as I don’t see how we can compete in it. Obviously for the club it’s better to get back in the CL ASAP but I really hope we can win the Europa while we have the chance to compete for it
When you see the other English clubs in big CL matches with all that hype added while we look forward to playing some sheite Eastern European team, it
Does make me jealous.
I want to see our team involved in the big champions league matches again. I know we have no chance of winning it at the moment but I don’t see why that means we shouldn’t look forward to being there. Experiencing the big games and being apart of it.
Also on a side note I hope Sky take the CL coverage back soon

Fully agree. It's a big trophy at the end of the day.
The Barca game in 2011 is my favourite CL memory.
I was working late nights and wasn't able to watch the game Live - so I told people not to bother texting me as I'll be keeping off my phone, away from the TV and generally avoiding anything that may give the score away.
Anyway, in the taxi home from work my phone buzzed and I couldn't resist. It was a text from my sister - she doesn't like football but still got the warning earlier.. there's no way she would message me anything related to the score.
"Haha Arsenal. Shame"
What! Facking biitch. Completely ruined my night you hoe. If she's texting me it must be embarrassing, a complete whitewash. Ffs.
So I get home and I'm fuming. I've avoided the bbc, sky sports, any other messages, mainly out of disappoint. I'm questioning whether I even want to watch the recording or just go to bed. "Fackit" we've been facking pummelled by those spanish caants and I want to see this shiitfest alone.
Van Persie misses an early chance and I feel likes that's it for us. David Villa scores and Barca take the lead I was expecting, we go rocky for 10 minutes but something feels odd. We aren't being massacred and despite a lack of pressure, we seem a threat on the counter attack.
Half time and after the break I think Messi scores but its ruled out. 1-0 and we're clearly still in the game. Jack Wilshere is having the game of his life.
Wenger brings on Arshavin and Lord Bendtner. He's going for it.
Van Persie scores and I'm shocked. 10 minutes left and it's 1-1.. what the fack can happen to us now that could be so humiliating? Minutes go by and somethings changed. Barca are all over the place and we're beginning to steamroll them.
Nasri knocks it into the box and Arshavins there.... FACCCCCKKKKIIINNGGGGGG YEEEESSSSSSSSS. Idgaf, what, FACCCKINNGG YESSS!
That last 5 or so minutes after the goal was just a complete buzz. Never expected us to beat them but we did. What a night!
Turns out my sister didn't even know the score but knew i'd go in a strop and just wanted to wind me up

On a similar theme, whenever i have had unavoidable family things to attend to which cause me to miss an Arsenal match (pretty rare because i have my priorities straight) but those ones you can't get out of like weddings and birthdays etc i always try to avoid all scores, football talk, news or anything that could spoil it and download the full match when i get home.
When my Mum had somehow found out the score and we had lost she made a bad habit of saying something along the lines of: "Are you sure you want to waste time watching that?" Since she did it a few times i always knew what it meant and even though we had lost i was still always annoyed that she had taken the surprise away - win or lose i like to enjoy watching the full match.
She's learned her lesson now though to keep absolutely 'schtum' and make no suggestive comments or hints whatsoever

Ahh back in the days before my innocent hope had been crushed...
Arsenal have a real chance of winning Europa.

Wow Ajax overturning a first leg defeat and knocking Real Madrid out by beating them 4-1 at the Bernabeu and 5-3 on aggregate!
