Only a few clubs could afford his wages
Levy wouldn't even sign Grealish, how is he going to sign Bale?

Klinsmann wasn't believable either, neither was Davids or VDV.

VDV is about the only 'big' signing of pedigree that we've made under Levy. You could argue Adebayor too perhaps. So that's 1 or possibly 2 in almost 20 years.

Spurtle good point mate, not even sure why I'm making a case for it because I myself no it's most unlikely.
I guess one can wish.
Do yourself a favour Dele...don't get your hopes up mate, where Levy is concerned anyway.

The only way I could ever see this happened would be if we got creative and basically sold them Eriksen for some undisclosed number resulting in Bale coming back for something like a 2 year loan deal where Madrid subsidized a portion of his wages leaving us the balance putting him somewhere on par with what we pay Kane
Still think he'll end up at United or PSG who can go just do a deal in cash and can take on his wages. RM could just offer us 70mln for Eriksen and we'd probably be mad not to take it
Only thing in our favor would be if Bale actually wants to come back but he's never really shown any great love of affection for Spurs since leaving
What ever happens I very much doubt he’ll be at Madrid next season.

I read an interview with Bale not that long ago and he said he still looks out for our results and wants us to do well. Whether that's due to love or the club or him being polite I don't know..
