The ball may have been heading over, so he's blocked a row C bound shot with his arm without looking. Seems stonewall too me

The reality is had that penalty been given against Man U is those exact circumstances, most of those rationalising it here would be absolutely livid. There are 3 main considerations as to whether a handball is "deliberate": distance from the strike to determine if you could have had enough time to get your arm out of the way; whether your arm is in an "unnatural" position; whether you moved your arm toward the ball.
I don't think there is any reasonable basis to say Kimpembe violated any of those.

They should stop providing point of contact stills of the event.
Well this thread certainly blew up.

Oh yeah I can see why they would be annoyed and disappointed, but like I said I don't think it's a stonewall decision either way.
What goes against Kimpembe is that he turns his arm (intentionally or not) into the path of the ball. His arm is out from his body and had it not hit his arm it wouldn't have been diverted by any other part of his body.

Looking at that tweet, if Lindelof/Smalling had their hand like that but somehow turned away from the shot and the ball hit their hand, is that a handball too?
Dunno if that makes sense but it's the best I got.
Depends where their hands are in relation to their body and the goal. If they stop the ball going into the net then there's a decision to be made. If part of their body is behind their hands for example their back in this case then you could argue that the ball wouldn't have gone in anyway. A large issue for everyone is a lot of it is down to interpretation.
Yeah I wouldn’t take anything Peter Walton says either.
..............
I wouldn't take anything Clattenburg says at face value either. Yet at least one eff wit on here was.

Winston your all talk no substance, you've had zero input other than mocking everyone else
I'm happy to debate if you actually have anything to say
I wondered how this article managed so many replies in such a short time, and then saw the reason a few posts in.

But it became apparent that you cannot actually read and digest anything, so will just now sit back and laugh at you if that's okay
