think you'll win the Europa and still of course can make the top 4. a lot will depend one what he does in the summer and how he starts next season.

Aren’t athletico in there? If so, they’ll see chelsea off.

Atlético are in the CL. They are kicking you out Baz.

Napoli could destroy us. Seville are strong and Arsenal (if they progress) have us on locks.

All true but if we're up for it you'd fancy us to beat all three. Napoli in the S/F's would be a great occasion, so much history entwined in those potential matches.

Arsenal in the Final, especially if United & Spurs get those top 4 places will be quite an occasion itself.

The reason we struggled so much when Jorginho went off is because we don’t have any other midfielder who can play the one touch passes and always find himself in positions to receive the ball. Is the Kante shouldn’t play anywhere but at the base of midfield narrative so strong that people are rewriting his best attributes, just to prove their point?

This talking point must be driving me insane, it's amazing how very little people seem to know about one of our star players.

Too right.

Putting aside the "Jorginho's useless" argument for a second, why are people so quick to want Kante in a position that makes no use of his energy and dynamism? Asking him to play DM is like leashing a bull terrier.

Wish I could trust Chelsea fans to stop talking sh’it about Kante and Jorginho’s positions.

As long as Kante is playing I'm not bothered where he is really

I would be happier seeing Kante in a more central position. That does not mean deep lying. His best season was his first with us. Playing him out wide does give us the benefit of his pace and he has exploited that against full backs at time most recently v Davies of Spurs but play him more centrally and it's easier for him to get back and nick the ball in those areas and he has the abilityu to keep the ball moving when we have possession there. This Jorginho bull about keeping the team ticking has long been known. He's giving the ball away too often. If Sarri wants to play him he should do so further upfield so when he loses the ball or is sacked like a quarterback the side is not in immediate danger. Personally I'd drop him for a few games til he sorts himself out and order extra weight training so he's not pushed off the ball so easily.

I want to see Sarri given a chance to prove himself, however, I also have lost confidence in him on one account.

I get CHO is young and had we had two more players of the quality of Hazard I'd be relatively happy with the time Callum is getting.

My problem is Willian and Pedro can put non descript performances in, on a regular basis yet still keep their places in front of Callum. I keep asking myself how many times are they going to get away with average to poor performances before Sarri will act and make a statement to Willian and Pedro that sub standard will not do and also to CHO that if he puts performances in he'll keep his place in the team.

He appears to me to have an absence of incentive in his management style, I don't like it and find it incredibly infuriating.

The same applies with RLC, I can see no reasonable excuse for Barkley or Kovacic to start in front of him, except that maybe he's still trying to protect RLC from his recent back troubles.

This all season long debate is driving me feckin insane. It just goes to emphasis how feckin worthless social media, football and 90% of football punditry is.

Why is it that people are so feckin thick that they can't understand that the Kante role of the previous 3 seasons for counter attacking teams Chelsea and Leicester does not exist anymore for a Chelsea side who under Sarri have now adapted a possession style of football?

Now fine, I am sitting on the fence as to which style of football is better, they both have their strengths and weaknesses..............but whilst we are on this possession style journey for heavens sake stop bringing up Kante to play a role he is ill suited to play.
