lets not forget Rangers could be within 5 points of us come Saturday night
for all the slagging they're getting for last night (and rightly so) we still cant put them away
Katic and McAuley still Rangers back ups at centre half i take it?
2 of which out of contract this summer, well one going back to Forrest.
There's a lot of work to be done for both clubs this summer.

I don't believe that Shinnie is done btw. Aberdeen very hopeful of keeping him.
No formal contact from rangers to either player or club.
I will get onto my Mole and keep you informed

If your mole is telling you that Aberdeen are currently in talks with player and agent and that they're hopeful that he will extend, then he's right.
By the highlights it looked like one of those turgid games of trying to break down a well organised team sitting deep.
I have yet to see us have a competent plan B this season against teams like Aberdeen when they sit in to frustrate.
I don't think we're much better than either Rangers or Aberdeen
Mind this one.....

McCrorie is Rangers best midfielder by a mile.
Amazed if he's been bombed out, i just assumed he was injured.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Whats amazing is how good players seem to become when they aren't playing in defeats.
McCrorie has certain attributes that suit certain games.
When dirty teams like Aberdeen come to town with their relentless soiling tactics you need at least one player in your midfield who is going to give a bit back. McCrorie is ideally suited for games like last night.
He does lack creativity though and becomes a bit of a spare part against the weaker teams.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
He at least always offers something though.
I don't think Jack offers a great deal most games. Arfield is also very meh.
Kamara looks like a decent squad addition, just now sure he's there to take Rangers up a level again next year.
Neither is Jordan Jones, Jack Hastie or Graeme Shinnie who are all done deals.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I don't believe that Shinnie is done btw. Aberdeen very hopeful of keeping him.
No formal contact from rangers to either player or club.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Please let this be the case.
Shinnie is dung.
Booked again last night for his usual through the back lunge.
I just cannot see the point in him coming to Rangers. We don't need spoilers in midfield.
We need creative talented footballers.
Shinnie is definitely not one of those.

Lennon had two easy chances at the treble and blew them. He really needs to improve to keep the job in my books.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
So is winning the treble every year your minimum expectation for a Celtic manager. In your books?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No but I am just saying lennon has been here before and failed. Two so called easy trebles and he lost them.
Far too many confident we'll do it again when lennon is yet to prove he can.
see if celtic win the league this year, it will be the most dull one we have ever won, and i include the one's without rangers in the league.
tbh last year took some beating, see on reflection rodgers had 1 mega season and then 2 dull as f... one's
I see they’ve brought in some help for the older members of the squad getting to the games. Can be a bit much on those old legs.

I don't rate Jack but I actually disagree. I think they are both much of a muchness.
Jack doesn't create much but he doesn't give the ball away much. Shinnies quality on the ball is poor.
Shinnie is an all action run about snapping at your heels terrier type of player. But he offers little beyond that.
He gave the ball back to us a good few times last night. We were just completely unable to do anything with it
Jack for a supposed hard man is a bit lethargic and slow in the tackle - see the second Aberdeen goal last night where he bottled it from Ferguson.
I don't think either of them are up to much.

Last two were brilliant with the record defeats in the old firm.
This year has been good lately with the last minute winners.
I wonder if rodgers is kicking himself now.
