pretty sure it read calling for another referendum not calling for a deal to be put to the people.

Long live hypocrisy.
Put it to the people.
They did that, and the people voted leave.
Get on with it then, and stop messing about you lost.
Groovy
If remainers want to remain...let them campaign after we leave.
It took leave 40 years to do so.

And the process of leaving is going all so well...
Whatever form Brexit takes, if indeed it does, it's clear the UK will have to remain in the SM (thus accepting the four freedoms) and the CU (thus participating in the common commercial policy).
However not being a member state we'll have no say on trade policy nor regulations we'll be bound by. Less control, less sovereignty. Which I'm not sure those who voted leave wanted.

Do you support the remain NI people backing May and Brussels WA as your Green party in Belfast does ?
Or do you still filter debate?
As wwspd filtered me for freedom of speech reasons, someone please repost my post as it is relevant.

Yeah, some of few have forgotten WE DID THAT, PEOPLE VOTED TO LEAVE
Another referendum is pointless, if remain wins then it's 1-1 and leavers would want another, and so on, and so on.
How about replaying all football matches if enough supporters of the losing team complain ?

I agree. Even if someone like Juventus won the league but were found to have cheated then the result should stand as it has already happened and you can't just change that now you have further information. Also congrats to Lance Armstrong on all of his titles and also Jimmy Saville was knighted. Can't just take it off him because it was decided at the time that he deserved it.
People saying another referendum is pointless are being lazy.
The leave campaign was literally found guilty of breaking electoral law. We should absolutely have another informed vote as a result if that.

Let's say that happened and leave won again, would that be the end of it?
Of course it wouldn't
Asked the family what restaurant they wanted to go to and they chose an Italian that sounded really good online and apparently had amazing lasagne. So we just went there and they said they didn't have lasagne and only have bread and tap water but we'd have to pay £20 each for the bread and tap water. Anyway, just sitting enjoying me water and bread as we decided to come here and it would not make sense at all to change our mind because the family voted for bread and tap water.

It's pretty obvious that they are just trying to procrastinate and delay as much as possible and hope that the brexiteers won't notice that brexit never happens. Their vision is based on movement so if we just sit really still for ages then the brexiteers won't react.

You went rustic Italian?
The one that really gets me, and you see it all the time, is the recently turned voting age brigade who claim there should be a 2nd ref because they weren't old enough to vote at the time
Do they not know how ridiculous they sound

True.
They would keep going until we gave in....or agreed.
Now, in hindsight I see more dangers than positives, but if democracy me and anything we follow the vote
Otherwise at local and general election level? Why accept the result again of any vote.
If the lunatics do take over the asylum and somehow block Brexit then Democracy is dead. No future govt would ever have a referendum ever again.
So a petition gets 4 million votes, does this mean that all the other millions who voted remain have changed their minds ?
