Gerrard got nominated but there was only going to be one winner.
Suarez for me. No pens aswel? Could be wrong, defence let him down that year. While Ronaldo had one of the best behind him.
Got to be Ronaldo. Only Owen has won a Ballon d'Or other than Ronnie that season.
You can't use him being in a good side against him, he won games on his own and without him we simply wouldn't have stopped Chelsea for the title. The stats he put in as a winger are sensational.
Henry had longevity (in the PL) on his side though.

Salah had better stats than Ronaldo from wide, so you can't use that as an argument for him.
Team game so very hard to answer.
Also just hard to choose!
Ronaldo
Suarez
Salah
Without bias I honestly cannot pick between these 3.
I’d go for that boy Ronaldo if pushed, it was just as impressive as the other two but with the added bonus of winning so much that season which is maybe unfair on the other two but they were hardly surrounded by pub team players.
Bergkamp's 97/98 season, especially the first coupd of months were outstanding. I think he had the top three in one of the goal of the month competitions.
That said, Ronaldo's 07/08 takes some beating.

Yeah using team achievements when talking about an individual isn't how it works. The article asks for the best individual season.

Well it can blend in as Ronaldo scored in the games both trophy's were won.
Also to add Drogba 09/10 should be considered on that level aswell especially given this stat obsessed world of the modern era, think it was 37 goals with a break in the middle for the ACON and not being the designated penalty takers, that's Messi numbers but I think what is held against him is how well we coped without him.
