Routine win and no doubt well executed. The league won't be won on the back of a home win against Cardiff though.

I think Jesus is a very good player, Mahrez too, but it's hard to find rhythm if you're in and out of the side.

I think your players probably spent more energy in the Spurs game than we did in Fulham and Cardiff combined GB.

True robbing. And I think Jesus movement is very good also. But even a young centre forward shouldn’t have so much work to do on finishing, he seems to lack that natural instinct too often.

Will see anyway. Big month chaps 🍻

Jesus will make it imo. As good as Aguero? No, but Sergio is arguably the leagues best ever striker so I think you've got to give some leeway there.

I'm not worried about energy levels after playing against Spurs. We've had two 10 day breaks and less games in general. I'm fact I think we'll get stronger.

I wouldn’t be worried either to be honest. Was more just an observation that for all our extra games we’ve actually had a bit of an easier ride lately than yourselves and been able to play a bit more within ourselves.

Jury still out on Jesus for me. Do agree need to see a bit more of him. But not convinced so far as a one man leading the line.

Nah we're shot now

Who you guys got next in the league? Is it spurs or united? Or someone else?

If neither of those two take points off you then it’s yours imo

I thought Cardiff were embarrassing, especially in the first half. Their tactic seemed to be on the off chance City give them the ball, get rid of it and make them try again.

I understand the tactic of defending and making it difficult for City but at least try to do something when you do get the ball. Colin is out of his depth in the PL and they'll deservedly go down.

There is no excuse for a game being like a training game for the opposition.

I doubt Pep is worried about Liverpool at all. They just have to win all their games. Doesnt matter what Liverpool do. Anfield can rock all they want but wont change anything if City stick to their task.

6 Cup finals thats it and if City can avoid injuries then they will be fine.

Like Jose said, must be difficult for liverpool players & coaching staff having to play their matches and Citys matches wondering who will do them a favour.

If city win say their next 3 premier league games then it gets worse. Actually if City beat United you would think Liverpool might just give up.

You play Cardiff soon, so every chance you punish them for this <wink>

Palace away next for us in the league.

That fixture worries me more than the Spurs or United games.

Shame about Oleks, he's been doing a great job at left back. Hamstring I assume?

Heresy I know but I'm just enjoying the football and players actually working their ball locks off for the team. If we win it fine, if not then Liverpool will have deserved it.

City will definitely not win every game. It's whether those deaws/loses come in the league or cup.

I suspect cup. I quite fancy us for the CL though.

Comparing Foden's performance to that of Mahrez, I think we should have saved £60m and kept Sancho.

I'm not sure whether Mahrez just liked being a big fish in a small pond or cannot make the step up that Pep demands. Walker also struggled with the step up but in his case I think it is concentration rather than not getting the complex patterns that Pep sets up. Mahrez sometimes seems to be on a different pitch, a bit like Jovetic did, although without the imaginary friends.

If you drop points against the Saints, City can afford to lose a game or draw a couple of times and still win the league.

Poor Yurgen must have a repeat prescription for elephant tranquilizers to keep himself calm.
