Thats not to you TSI btw

fair play....

my experiences of recruitment consultants have been a bit different.. I've always felt like I was being used, one even told me I hadn't got a particular job, and advised I should take the other... I smelt a rat and contacted employer and it all turned out that the consultant would get more commission that month if I took the job that he advised.

see its difficult for me to view consultants in any other way after that, I'm you're not all like that though

Its changing a lot because that and it's much more cconsultancy based now in every sense of the word. At the end of the day they wouldnt exist were they not needed.

You get good and bad staff in any sector now, look at dangerdog being let go yet again for example, but the key is repeat business and reputation and you dont get that by being a shyster in my experience.

So sensitive . A fecjing recruitment consultant = a joke career

I think its like any professional services firm you use they can be really hit and miss. I used to do a similar role to hoody until about 9-10 years ago when I moved in-house.
I now use different firms sometimes to hire however as stated above it really depends on the consultant you get on the customer service and delivery you will receive.
It can be a bit and miss but so can your nurse, your plumber, estate agent, mechanic for example

And the pattern repeats itself. Same old Dangermong.

I've taken a step up in the moral ladder.... A debt collector

but again its not like it sounds so much, there are rules and regulations you have to follow... and actually it can be a very difficult on the heart strings to be fair

He'll be gone by the end of the day.

He has to create a new email address every time he signs on for UC anyway though so he'll sion be back.

Yeah its a tricky on that. I feel for landlords for example who have really bad tennants but then Im sure there is another side to that at times too.

Atthe end of the day you can only acccpunt for yourself(and yoyr team if you run one).

I bet youre coining it though atm??

They were actually more like that in the old days. Pretty clear youve never done the job though which is nice.

Feel free to google average pay of an executive recruitment consultant. You dont earn that for being like a used car salesman.

I really enjoy it anyway.

Do you earn lots more money than car salesmen?

doing ok to be fair. should be a decent summer

Yeah I've got a lot of landlords in that situation... though I do think a lot is down to them not taking out various precautions, credit checks / insurance's where rent is paid to them regardless, I find that some landlords do stuff on the cheap so when it all goes t1*ts up, they expect me to go in with a baseball bat - but its not like that all the time.

I prefer the Parking fine cases - you can be more forceful and you're backed by the law

Yeah there are some awful landlords and awful tenants.

This thing about no fault evictions looks a good move though.

This would be hilarious if they set this up here. They'd go in with a baseball bat and come out with no knees. I guess that's why they don't have it here.

mate, I've had more meetings on this subject than I care to talk about..... FFS, it will be the death of us all.. this will start the Apocalypse I'm telling you

There is quite a good little documentary (think it's on vice which has some decent stuff on it imo) about a scouse debt collector who gets debt back using slightly different methods for people who can not go down the legal channels.

Everyone pays weirdly.
