We’ve had defensive problem long before Jan and LFC signed him long ago.

I agree with you, I believe its not for trying but the approaches seems to be not working out.

Everything about the club is rotten.

Remember the days when people used to say we o ly need 2 too players?

Now we need about 6-7

It's just painful mate. How can we have 2 prolific strikers playing in front on that terrible defence we have?

Would happily sell Auba is we get a good offer. Scored goals but only when we are winning, at home and never against the big teams.

The best area of our team besides Leno overall this season and this is where you put your focus.



Your hate campaign against Auba is getting tedious, the guy is quality, one of the top scores in the League and would have scored even more this season had it not been for the garbage behind him. He has scored some important goals as well.

What have any of our midfielders been doing to even try and link up with him?

Defensively we have been poor for the last 4/5 games and therefore easily overrun... The midfielders sense this so sit back trying to protect the back 4 more and the gaps between the midfield and the forwards only increase in that case so we create virtually nothing because we end up punting long balls forward which Lacazette / Aubameyang are not suited to unless it gives them an opportunity to run in behind which is rarely the case.

I will admit though that in the last 10 games or so Lacazette / Aubameyang have performed worse in comparison to earlier in the season but the same could be said about the whole team.

Auba has been a ghost in a lot of games. Fans are scared to critise certain players but if your not getting service then you have to do more as a player to get yourself involved. The dude is weak

Laca has scored 6 away goals in 2 seasons

But you can't pin today on Auba & Laca, we had 23/24% possession in the first half... Our Midfield & Defence have been shambolic lately and creating practically nothing for either of them to finish.

You can't really pin too much blame on either of them in general, they are the highest quality department in our team - period, besides may Leno too. We have far greater areas for concern in the Midfield & Defence.

Get a proper team behind Aubameyang & Lacazette and they will both score even more than they do already.
