We have t missed out on anything...yet.
No excuse for being unfit as a professional footballer
Missed chances yet again. Just not good enough, he was probably playing for his next contract today tbh
It’s down to whoever is in charge of fitness. If he’s not fit enough don’t play him.
On another note, if our squad is unfit as it is we need to change the tactics of going all out in the first half because we’re consistently knackered in the second half and that’s ruining what good work we have put in.
It’s troubling that a moron like me can see it but the coaching staff can’t
He was blowing chunks after 2 minutes. Farce of a human being.
It was almost like mourinho football again today.
What has happened to the football that we played when we went on that unbeaten run??

That is bs.
Lukaku and Luke Shaw are clearly spending too much time at the curry mile.

The pressure is on. When ole got the job everything was a bonus and the feel good factor was there. Now he’s feeling the pressure that results actually matter now we’re so close to top 4 he’s gone safety first

Missed chances? What other chances did we have?
Our squad fitness has been poor for years. Even dating back to the latter years under Fergie.
His second half performance was utterly pathetic... It was like him and higuain were having some contest to outdo each other in ridiculous offsides
Add in the normal woeful lay offs killing attacks
Infuriating
He's living proof that this club has been squandering massive sums of cash for years now

Luke Shaw is actually one of the few who is close to the level required tbf. Probably close to the fittest player in the squad which speaks volumes about the others considering where he supposedly was a couple of years ago.
Tbf Lukaku was our best player in the first half.
The entire side walked off the cliff in the second. Kante bossed the midfield in the second half. Maybe offer Chelsea £100 million for him this summer as he’s very much what we need.

Going all out? Wtf is wrong with you
You have to wonder why we went off to Dubai in Jan when maybe it would have been better to work on fitness back in Manchester.
Pretty annoying we’re off to the Far East again this summer. Imagine giving a manager a whole summer in the uk to get his players ready.
Problem as well is that it’s something that will take years to fix to get the squad to the required fitness levels. It’s more than just the players that need changing, they also needed conditioning as a squad that can take a while to really bare fruit.

What’s wrong with us pacing ourselves throughout a game? If we’re flagging in the second half then why not keep the ball and not start games with that intensity and save some for the second half

If I may as a rival. When Ole came in and during the initial good run your players were running a lot more and pressing from the front. Unfortunately for you lads they are nowhere near fit enough for this strategy so while able to initially keep it up they soon ran out of steam and look shattered which has coincided with your poor run.
His first job is to get that squad a hell of a lot fitter. Just my opinion mind
If you think we’ve been going all out you’re more clueless than I thought and the bar wasn’t that high to begin with.

Ooh, insults. You’re hard aren’t you.
If you really don’t think we’ve lacked the same intensity in the second half as we have had in the first then you’re mistaken my good man.
Go watch our last few games. Started strong and with intensity but it disappears. If fitness is an issue as it is then pace ourselves.
