he will play, but I don't want Son anywhere near the Bournemouth game. not even on bench. he is the absolute key man in getting away goals on Wednesday, and we need him fit, and very very hungry,

Ajax is much the bigger game.

Regardless of where we finish in the Prem it could be years before we find ourselves in a cl semi again. Don't get me wrong I would like to win tomorrow (for the morale as much as anything) but Weds night is off the scale in terms of importance.

couldn't agree more, and it makes the west ham result even more of a collosal fack up

Don't get this argument..... Failure to secure Top 4 could see us lose some of our best players and seriously impact our ability to strengthen the squad (much needed). We are underdogs Vs Ajax and the likelyhood of us beating Barca in the final is remote. Nobody will care that we were losing CL finalists if we are playing Europa League football next season with No Eriksen, No Toby , a p1ssed off Kane & Dele (not that he deserves to be starting) and a bunch of C grade new signings playing in front of 35K on a Thursday night

I'm scared of him getting injured.. if he doesn't play in Amsterdam then we have no chance imo

Don't rule out us drawing/losing to B and securing the top 4 this weekend. The chasing 3 have been as bad as us in recent weeks.

Yes true, but it's not must win.

Win tomorrow and secure top 4 at all costs. We can go into the Ajax game a little more relaxed knowing regardless of result, we will be playing CL football again next season. This might propel us to really go for it against them and get through to the final.

No extra motivation required vs Ajax, but always good to go into the next game off the back of a victory

Isn't Champions League qualification worth something like £70m on its own?

Whereas Spurs "only" stand to earn a further £30m or so from reaching the final, as opposed to going out in the semis.

So in raw numbers, CL qualification is the bigger deal, especially since Spurs will struggle to attract quality players without it. But obviously both would be ideal.

There's also the fact that a win tomorrow would provide a bit of morale and momentum going into the Ajax game. Whereas a loss or draw tomorrow and I'm pretty sure Spurs, at a low ebb, would probably go out with a whimper on Wednesday.

Dunno whether I'd want the team to be too strong, with the Ajax game around the corner. I'd give the first team defence a rest anyway, and definitely play KWP as an audition for the Ajax game.

yeah but think of the glory.....

I don't see us beating Ajax without being really on it. Given how lethargic we have been I think the likes of Dele and Eriksen need a rest. I would rotate and hope to either sneak a win or take a point.

Still think arsenal and Chelsea will drop points even if we fack up.

I would actually play Dele and in a more forward role to give him a chance to get his confidence up. I don't know whether it's so much tiredness for Dele or just that he's simply rubbish at the moment. It's not like he's been playing all season.
