I will be happy when we all start talking football again.
Wheater considering moving to Kilmarnock.
out of interest, is there a wage cap in L1, what is it?
There is a wage cap and probably chuck an embargo wage cap in as well. So 2 keepers, no defenders, 3 midfielders and 2 strikers listed as first teamers on the official website. 3 Murphy. Otzumer, Hall barely played under parkinson. Not looking good is it?

nothing there that we didn't know already, but onwards and maybe upwards, just depends on their next couple of moves.
Don't think the wage cap thing will be an issue - Don't think there'll be many expecting huge money from us any time soon.
The administrators announcement seems to put old Buffoony's statement in the old cocked hat for now anyway.
how many times has he threatened to sue in his time, never done so yet.
Hopefully, all matters concerning the takeover will be finalised before the end of the week and the training ground can be re-opened for next week at the latest. Wages can be paid and rebuilding the squad can begin.
Then we will be talking football and looking forward to the season beginning. Maybe Allardyce can be drafted in to help sort out a new manager and advise on players.
Well, that is what I would like to see if the consortium has enough cash and Big Sam is in a charitable mood and doesn't ask for big money. Perhaps he might like to put a couple of million into the pot.
As you might gather, the last paragraph is stated with tongue firmly in cheek.
That £1m injection didn't go far, did it? You would have thought the bill for the training ground facilities would be up to date knowing it would be needed.
You would think that the amount of time spent on the heads of terms, that the sale and purchase will be fairly quick, but this is BWFC, so nothing is so simple.
Yes. Laughed at that this morning. Always have a chuckle in the morning reading the off the press beano articles at 6.15 with my morning brew.
I can't see Sam parting with his cash. Bottomless pit Bolton, surprised anyone's investing in it.
Thank god someone has faith otherwise the alternative doesn't bear thinking about. I hope that you are smiling Benny. At least it isn't Armageddon. We will still be in business with new owners who care about the club.
A day after the races. Sunday 14 July 2019, KO 2pm at York City for a pre season friendly, £10 each.
Do we have a full team?
The trialist family may have arrived by then. Either that or we could borrow some York players.
Alnwick. Trialist, zouma, trialist, trialist. Politic, Lowe, Murphy, otzhumer. Hall, magennis. (4-4-2)
could always have Matthews and Turner in defense
The latest news re the takeover. https://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/sport/17744517.plans-for-season-tickets-and-signings-as-bolton-takeover-approaches/
One investor has dropped out but apparently, it was known prior to the bid being accepted so hopefully no worries on the score.
Another friendly organised at Oldham. Talk of season tickets being sorted and priority on getting a squad together.
Thinks look like moving forward at last.
I wonder if the imminent resignation of Parminder Basran was the real reason for the delay in completing the first stage of the takeover. It would have probably meant restructuring the finances from the other three members. Although didn't Iles state that there was a new investor in the consortium? If that was a fact, that person has not yet been named. Perhaps we will find out more as time rolls on.
Another interesting snippet in the last Iles piece was that Middlebrook owner, Peter Emerson Jones, has distanced himself from a consortium involving Laurence Bassini, who announced at the weekend they planned to buy the club. He stated, “I would like to confirm that we have not had any dealings with this gentleman, Mr Bassini, in any bid or with any of his associated companies,” he said, in a statement to us yesterday.
So much for Bassini and his bid. Why on earth would anyone come out with such rubbish when it was evident that his lies would be challenged at some stage? It seems most unlikely that he will try to stop the sale of the club now that his reputation is completely trashed.
To be fair, Bassini also stated he didn't even know who Jones is or was.
Appears to a rumour started by some reporter, somewhere.
According to Nixon parky will be staying on. That rolling contract must be water tight. When you've not much money anyway would be a big pay out. Also kens lacky Paul Aldridge staying on. All down to football ventures who don't have any football background.
Isaac, I didn't see anything regarding Bassini not knowing who Jones was. If that is the case then it probably is some creep of a reporter just trying to get a story printed.
It does make sense to keep someone like Paul Aldridge on board. At least he knows the day to day running of the club. Isn't it supposed to be short term?
It's bad news about Parky if it's true it's time to rescind the rolling contract.
The Vultures are circling, Crystal Palace in for Remi Mathews, with a points deficit, two good goalkeepers
Would have been a massive bonus .
It’s now up to the new consortium, to show us what there aim is. In League One.
We are still waiting for them to sign a Share and Purchase agreement, which will then lead to a completed deal. Will it happen this week or are we set for another unavoidable delay?
The way things are going we will need a new team with the possible exception of a few youngsters that we might be able to retain.
