MK - if Levy does not did deep then I am afraid that Poch will upsticks to pastures new and I remember previous managers like Redknapp having this issue with old baldilocks !!

Anyone it shouldn’t be money wise it should be the right players.

Just because maybe one player costs £80m doesn’t mean he’s right for us more than some who might cost half that.

Just praying we finally have our scouting and targets ready to go

I’m just going to put this out there...

Give me

Ryan Sessegnon
Wan Bissaka
Ndombele
Gareth Bale
Keep both Eriksen and Toby

I will be an extremely happy guy and I believe we would challenge the league with that team. Wether it’s realistic or not I couldn’t give a f**, but that’s what I would like. Bring back Gareth!!! #savegareth

I’m certainly not going to give up on here campaigning for Bale until I know it’s impossible we won’t get him. Couldn’t careless what Chronic thinks either, I truly believe Gareth Bale would be an amazing signing for any club despite his injuries. Bring him home.

Ace, you can’t tell me you wouldn’t be excited and hyped up if we unveiled Gareth bale as our signing this summer. Any Spurs fan that says they wouldn’t be happy are talking out their a**. Every Spurs fan would be over the moon if we signed him. Real Madrid want him out and will do everything in their power to make that happen. Gareth Bale will have to take a pay cut wether he goes, unless he went China which isn’t happening. I’m telling you now Ace, Gareth Bale is gettable, but it’s wether Spurs have the ambition to get a player of his quality in the ranks.

I wouldn’t mind bale back but he’s not my first pick that’s for sure.

I’d rather zaha

I said it last year and I’ll say again, I think Gareth Bale will end up back at Spurs. If I’m wrong, then so be it but I have a feeling he will be our big signing this summer. I certainly will welcome him back with open arms and feel he has 3/4 great seasons left in him.

Fair play, I love Zaha to but I think Bale has that star quality still to turn us into title challengers

We need to move early for our targets, make offers that are likely to be accepted and negotiate wages that are commensurate with the current market for a CL club. Lowballing and derisory offers just give you a bad rep and put people off of dealing with you.

For me the priorities are RB and CM. I would like to see us sign AWB at RB, one of either Tielemans or Ndombele in central mid along with a cheaper CM signing to supplement that area such as Grealish or Gomes. Beyond that a good quality attacker such as Zaha would also be very welcome, but it’s folly to think Palace are just gonna sit back and let a club come in and hoover up their best talent. If Sessegnon is available for £25-30m we should be signing him to future proof our LB position and add depth at present.

Annoyingly there will be other clubs with slicker transfer strategies and deeper pockets also sniffing around all these players.

We also need to be utterly ruthless with shipping out the deadwood. Trippier, Davies, Wanyama, Lamela, Janssen, Llorente and maybe even Dier can go as far as I’m concerned. If we could make our money back on Aurier I’d also get rid of him, he won’t amount to anything at this club. A squad reboot is well overdue.

We all know what we need, mate but what we'll get as completely opposite

Smell the beans

Oh I’m under no illusion in thinking Levy will suddenly splash loads of cash. I’m saying what players I would like. Levy doing it is another thing altogether, but I just got a feeling we will get Bale in a cut price loan deal as suggested in the media outlets. This is the sort of deal Levy would take a gamble on and I would love Bale back here.

What makes you think that? He’s going backwards, and at 30 and relying on pace he’ll not be great for that period of time. It’s why Madrid want rid and will struggle to find buyers because he’s past it.

I think us Spurs fans have still that image of a marauding Bale with his shooting ability but that was the past and we need to realise if Bale was that good, Zidane would bust his nuts to keep him at RM

Let's move on with this Bale saga

Plus, old baldy won't accept a 30 year old asking for more than 250k a week!

We need upgrades in CM and full back, as well as proper competition for Kane and Eriksen (if he stays). Add to that replacements for players that leave, and that includes replacing Toby and Eriksen should they go.

Ideally we keep CE and TA, and bring in a couple of quality pacey full backs, a couple of CM`s and a pacey wide forward also capable of playing up front, and clear out unwanted players.

This would cost quite a few quid, and I`m not sure Levy will spend whats required, I wouldnt be surprised if we see another low net spend window in classic Levy style.

The only way I can see Bale coming to Spurs is if we do a deal similar to when we signed Adebayor from Man City where they subsidised his wages so they effectively paid us to take him off their hands. Real are pretty desperate to get rid so I guess it's possible.

Don's been on the bale thing for years

If he wasnt a former player nobody would be interested in signing a guy on 300k a week who's about to turn 30, is famously injury prone and just halved his goal output in the league this season

Exactly this and certainly isn’t impossible.

People assume Gareth Bale losing his pace means he will suddenly be rubbish. Gareth Bale is a world class player and world class players adapt and change their game if need be. People were saying exactly the same thing last year “ bale is rubbish now “ etc etc, he then goes and wins the CL for Real Madrid with a goal of individual brilliance. The guy is top quality still I don’t care what anyone says.
