he interviewed well the last time for it and only Rodgers stopped him getting it

it would be underwhelming imo but I think he'd do a decent job

The rumour is that he's a guest of the board for the cup final on Saturday.

I'm hoping that's a load of sheidt and they wouldn't do that to Lennon on his final game.

I'm also hoping they wouldn't do it because i think he'll be a bad appointment.

Nonetheless, whoever it is will get my full backing.

Doesn’t inspire me with confidence but we’ve been spoilt by Rodgers and the having Lennon step in so quickly.

Maybe 9 trophies on the bounce and we are moaning about an ex EPL manager with varying degrees of success coming in to run our side.

Let’s manage our expectations sensibly.

Rodgers was beyond anything we could have hoped for, and its why we have ppl saying we are getting rafa etc.

Moyes is a realistic appointment, knows scottish football, knows the club, and probably sh@gged your maw.

What i would say is, if he gets the job then Desmond is certainly loosening the purse strings.

Although i imagine that's helped with the amount of deadwood that's being freed up.

Almost £150,000 a week being freed up this summer.

You can count loans in the sense they are on the payroll i suppose.

We're paying more than half of Burke's 45K a week wage.

Lustig
Izzy
Gamboa
DDV
Boyata
Allan
Compper (still has a year left mind you)

None of them will be there next season.

Add in the loans of Weah, Burke & Benkovic.

Don't forget we got Brown to half his wage as well.

At least we're now not paying £40,000 a week for someone who struggles to pass a baw.

Only £20,000 a week for the next 2 years.

He got a payrise when Rodgers came in, he was already on or around £35,000 then.

I will fully back Moyes if appointed, but it doesn't fill me with enthusiasm.

Deadwood gone, but Moyes and his backroom team wont be cheap.

Good thing is he knows the club, has top level experience, but his football is.. Meh.

Big Fellaini his first signing?
