Not a single Gers fan will say they expect to win the league.
We need to improve, and need new players. No idea what to expect though.
I think we will be in a genuine race for the title from the off next season.
Ask me again if we will win it once the window has closed.
As for Morelos, sell, please sell. A liability and his touch is pathetic and finishing erratic.
On his day he's fantastic but he cost us games a clinical finisher with a calm head (Defoe) would have won us. Goodbye.
It's a shame the Alfredo song is great and Defoe is a cringefest though.
Can we change that from Al-Fred-o to Jermain-Def-oe
I meant the Defoe - Hey baby song.
Rotten.
u never know with a new manager though do you.
i mind when barnes came in we humped teams to start with, and le guen at rangers, they looked like they were going to take 7 or 8 off someone when it clicked, then it all fell to bits.
you don't want another mowbray thats for sure, and he knew scottish football. what a disappointment he was.

tbh you just need to focus on beating the rest and sharing the spoils in old firm games.
I genuinely don't know right now. I want to say yes but with the turnover i expect in both squads its really hard to say. Celtic would be favourites but I think they will get a title challenge that goes all the way next season.
All about the managerial appointment for us.
If we appoint someone of Benitez calibre then we will skoosh it.
If we appoint Moyes then it could go either way.
If we appoint Lennon i think we'll struggle but it's sometimes difficult to remember that Lennon out together a cracking side in his first two seasons. The last 2 and these past 3 months have been truly awful to watch.
Based on momentum, Rangers and Gerrard look to be getting things right in the squad.
I think Rangers next season will be stronger and more consistent than this season because our core squad players know what level is required.
But... There are so many variables.
First main one, who will be Celtic next manager.
Second who will leave Celtic and who will join.
Third , imo Celtic will face their strongest challenge in the league, compared to the last 8 years.
Rangers don't have as many variables. We know the manager and coaching staff will be the same.
We know some of the players leaving and joining.
The big question is will there be 2 or 3 key signings that will transform us into a consistent winning team that will win trophies in spl.
Going to be an interesting summer, but at this stage , it's too early to tell.
Watp. 👍

you forget he had a decent team the first season or 2, as soon as rangers were liquidated we tightened the purse strings and that was that.
best players being sold and guff being brought in.
A right back ...nah
Who needs one ?!? Especially one that can defend and attack . Naaaaahh
RB, CB an absolute must.

Heard this for 3 years in a row now
Lustig's signing a new deal next week, 12 month contract.
1st pick next season.
wouldnt shock me to see lustig and izzy stay.
tbh lustig can stay on a reduced wage if he is back up.
No doubt they'll still be 'going for 55' as a mere mathematical fact and not a statement of immediate intention.
Celtic will still win the league comfortably in my opinion.
That is unless the mighty Dundee United can hit the ground running should they be promoted

The last 3 years the gap was not as close as now. Last 3 old firm games rangers have been the better team.

If Celtic do somehow win the league after we're promoted (be it next season or whenever) it'll be the first time for a while where they don't have to put an asterisk next to the date in their record books. A title that will actually be won on merit rather than a technicality.
That's if they win it of course.
see when diela was first made manager i was in gran canaria and at that time using data abroad was dangerous for your bank account.
every night i'd get ready and tell the mrs i was going down to use the internet and i'll get her in the reception while reading up on our fantastic new appointment.
you forget how from nov - may that season we all loved him
