Gonna be a good transfer window I reckon, especially if we can shift all the players we don’t want
McNeil, Tarkowski, Cornet, Weghorst, Mo Salah

is that Torino CB even a left CB?
didnt know about schlotterbeck, so fair enough
Tielemans is a shout, one year left on his contract this summer right?
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Yeah Bremer would fit in the LCB, quick, powerful albeit quite raw. Is a pressing CB in the same vein as Romero. Certainly proper competition for Davies.
Tielemans contract only has a year to run. Arguably we should’ve signed him instead of N’Dombele - that’s ship has sailed though. He seems a bit heavier this year but he is press resistant. Exactly the type of MF the squad could do with. Maybe even a swap deal for N’Dombele
I'm not convinced by Tielemans, though he'd make more sense for the club than Eriksen he strikes me as only a slightly better Winks.
Skipp new contract? Announced there’s ‘news’ and 2027. Looks like a long term deal for Skippy.

So happy for Skippy.
Anyone have access to the Tory graph?

"Football is different compared to 10 years ago,” Aurier says. “He is still a great coach, but there are things that have evolved. Sometimes players need more love and attention. I'm not speaking for José, I'm speaking for his assistant. Joao is a tough guy and he didn't have a good relationship with the dressing room, that's why everything deteriorated. There was a lack of good communication.”
About Joao Sacramento: "It was one of his first experiences in a first team and he lacked calm with the players,” Aurier adds. “He needed to be more concerned about the person behind the player. Sometimes when you don't play a lot of s— goes through your head, and you need someone to calm you down and help you, to give you good vibes, not to send you negative messages. And I think it all started there."
Aurier, for one, actually has fond memories of working with Mourinho prior to his sacking on the eve of the 2021 Carabao Cup final." One day we argued, but it was over a tactical issue,” he says. “I wasn't happy with his decisions and I went to talk to his office. I know I could talk to him without any problems because he likes the player to be honest. The day after, the problem was solved.
“I love it because Mourinho listens to you, and then he tells you what he thinks. Sometimes you hate him and you want to kill him, but then you love him because his character is that of a born winner and I identify with him a lot. I have nothing against him.
"But we were not in a good mood and the club was not happy. Imagine if we had won that final with him. Maybe they would have gone crazy for him to stay and they would have offered him a contract renewal just for short-term thinking after winning a title. And if the club really wanted to sack him, it would have been impossible to do that after winning the Carabao Cup.”
About his recklessness: I admit to being a bit reckless, but that’s the way I express myself on the pitch. I don't know how to take it easy. I like to be intense and leave with a clear conscience. I don't care what people say about me. I care what my family thinks. There are a lot of footballers who are worried about what people say about them on social media. I'm not. If I listened to everything people said to me, I'd go crazy.
"My main concern has always been to bring a plate of food to my family. That's the pressure I put on myself, not the pressure that comes from outside. Without the fans, football is nothing, and I respect very much that they criticise me because they pay a ticket to have fun, but I don't tolerate them picking on or insulting my family. If they want to kill me, let them kill me, but not my entourage.”
Aurier’s attitude has been shaped by personal trauma, notably the death of his brother, Christopher, a player in France’s fifth tier, who was shot outside a nightclub in Toulouse after an alleged disagreement over his ex-girlfriend. Remarkably, Serge played for Spurs just two days later, finding solace in his work, but it was the start of a difficult year which culminated in his departure from Spurs in September last year.
“I feel loved and respected here,” he says. “It's not easy to change your life and adapt quickly, but Villarreal is the ideal place to do it. The way the team plays, unlike Tottenham, is always based on having the ball and that has helped me to integrate better.”
Skip confirmed out for rest of season....
🚨 NEW: Steven Bergwijn on his #thfc future: "Here? I honestly don't think so. It's a difficult for me, I don't play much. Ajax would certainly be an option. A return to the Netherlands would certainly be an option for me." | @ADnl
Daniel Levy is proud that #thfc managed to appoint Antonio Conte. He wants to give him everything he needs to keep him happy and at the club for next season. [The Athletic]
#thfc want a new left-sided centre-back this summer and are willing to seriously invest in the signing. Joško Gvardiol and Alessandro Bastoni are the top two targets. The club also want new wing-backs on both sides, a back-up goalkeeper and striker. [The Athletic]
There is talk that #thfc have decided to spend every available pound this summer on players who are immediately ready for the first-team. A move away from previous policy to sign talented young players. [The Athletic]
So that’s not dependent on us getting fourth?
