I can see us coming out of this window with a weaker squad than when it opened.

All rumours point towards quality proven PL players leaving and younger unproven PL players replacing them.

And no real hint of the squad being strengthened sufficiently to mount a proper challenge. Any new players now will be way behind in Poch` pre season and potentially off the Poch pace for weeks / months.

Yep, 100%. People are living in cloud cuckoo land if they think we are getting all of Lo Celso, Ceballos, Sessegnon, Alves etc. Not happening. We will either be weaker or slightly stronger with NDombele. We ain’t be much stronger that’s for sure, all pointing to that.

I still stick with what I said Don, that Spurs will not be signing any more now. Squad go off on tour soon. So it will be pretty much as we were. The weaknesses in the back four will still he at the club.

We are from Tottenham, we are called Tottenham Hotspur. Spurs is a nickname. They don’t refer to Man U as the Red Devil’s, or West Ham as the Hammers. It really facking irritates me.

Yeah, that did occur to me - Levy has been particularly keen on cracking the American market and ‘Spurs’ fits that bill much better than ‘Tottenham’.

Yeah definitely sounds like a marketing move. It's a weird one though considering the San Antonio Spurs.

I'm not sold on Ceballos. He needs to be the "side b**tch" in our transfer dealings

I don't think Ceballos is likely at all. He doesn't want the move even if we convince Real to sell. Would much rather Lo Celso, who appears to have had his head turned by Poch.

The bale stories are back

On ceballos I think he’s a excellent player. Not really shown it for Madrid yet but for international and Betis he looked very good.
